The £5 note is a commemorative issue produced to celebrate Old Tom Morris and the 175th Anniversary of the Royal and ancient golf course at St. Andrews. Scotland. Ser. No. R&A1666576 is a circulated banknote and is somewhat creased. It has several folds and is very slightly dirty, it is 134mm by 70mm in size, this note is dated Edinburgh 14th May ... more2004. The £1 note is just about as good as the come. It is in an excellent uncirculated grade. The only thing I can fault this note on is that it has a short and very light crease to one of the edges near the top corner. This crease cannot be seen on the scans as it is far too small and light for the scanner to pick up,however it is there so best to mention it. Ser. No. B/76045087 is 130mm by 66mm in size. This note is dated Edinburgh 24th March 1992. Overall these are nice notes to collect perhaps someone would like these for their collection. Please do refer to the scans for your own appraisal of these very collectible old banknotes.
