Up for bid here is a Rare and Vintage RCA Colorvolt Automatic Voltage Regulator Model 10T 200. This item is a head scratcher that I brought home from a local estate auction. A little research indicates that it was used on early television sets because they were picky about the voltage that they ran on. I have plugged it in and nothing seems to happen but I'm not sure what is supposed to happen. I haven't tried plugging anything into it after I've had it plugged in. I'm not sure that I want to press my luck that much. Anyway. It looks good cosmetically. The wood grain is fake and feels like tin. I can also tell you that it is heavy as heck for its size! I have it in a medium flat rate box and it weighs 13 pounds. That's a lot considering that it measures about 8-7/8 inches across the front of it, stands 7 inches tall, and ... moreis 4-5/8 inches from front to back. There must be a bunch of copper inside it or something. The way the cord is rolled up I'm not even sure that this has been used.
