This large heavy clock has wooden works and a wooden face and clock has a pendulum and one weight. Key is missing and probably other parts are missing also. You get all you see. Door is missing whatever was in the bottom panel as you can see and one of the hinges needs to be repaired. We are not sure if it is in working order. 1961 Vintage Hofner Senator Bass project - Beatle bass neck scale and profile
This is an actual Hofner Senator hollow body bass from approximately 1961. The original Sunburst lacquer finish is intact over this entire instrument. The wood grain is figured and absolutely beautiful. This project was purchased by me many years ago and I have realized that I may never get the time to complete it. There are tons of parts available on the web and this auction site and it should be relatively easy to complete. I believe it takes the same tailpiece. Bridge and tuners as a Beatle bass. Get originals or re-issue parts and have some fun! Of course, this bass is super light weight, just like everyone is searching for! This would make a cool project bass! The scale length and neck feel is just like a Beatle bass, but you actually get a nice Jazz size body for comfort and better acoustic tone. I have played many Senator and President ... morebasses over the years and do prefer them over the Beatle bass small body. This is a real, vintage Hofner, German made bass from, I believe 1961(maybe earlier- as the original pickup may date it in the 50's! No returns- buy it and own it. Peavey Classic Model B 1970's vintage guitar amp PROJECT
Shipping will probably be less with FedEx! If you're serious. Email me for a quote, but please don't hassle me if you're just looking for fun. Here's a Peavey Classic. Model B, I believe from 1976, that runs 6L6 tubes, in a 2x12 cabinet. It powers up and produces noise, but not guitar sounds. I got it in non-working condition, recapped it, did some resoldering of bad joints. The power transformer didn't look original, so I did some research and found that Peavey bought a bunch of PT's and retrofitted them when they built the amps, so it is original. Just to be safe, I powered up the tranny and tested the voltages coming out, and they matched what they were supposed to be, per Peavey. It then powered up and produced guitar sound for a few minutes when I worked on it a couple of weeks ago. Then it stopped working while ... moreI was testing it, the sound fa ded down. So the speakers. Which are original, made noise. The power supply functioned. Now you just get hiss. I replaced a few of the transistors because I had them around, but they old ones were fine, and it didn't help. It's going to need repair. It will need a new 3-prong plug, the wires are pulling out of the old one. It will need to be cleaned up on the exterior. I quickly wiped away dust on the top of the amp, so you can see how well it cleans up in one picture. The tolex has some tears, as does the grill cloth. The interior is pretty clean, no goo or soot. You'll get the amp. A photocopy of the owners manual, and I will email you the schematic after the auction. You'll also get my handwritten list of transistor equivalents- so you can decipher the Peavey part numbers into compatible parts. If you like. I will sell you a pair of 6L6 tubes. I carry lots. I was using a pair of Chinese tubes in it when I was testing it, and they sounded good. I'll sell you a pair of those for $20 if you like. If you want ANY tubes. Has national union tubes(Gn7g) 6f6 gt/g) that light up and seem to be working when i plug it in. Mid Century 1940's-50's Small Bodied Parlour Guitar & Case Luthier Project
A Striking little small bodied sloping shouldered Parlour Guitar. I would guess dating from the 1940's-50's. Seemingly quite well made with a solid, although thin top, the guitar has its original fitted hardcase. Of striking appearance, the fingerboard is covered in a pinky red heavily figured pearloid celluloid, which matches the pickguard. The neck is straight, the heel joint undisturbed and it has a suprisingly low action. Even given the strings that are on it and are clearly donkeys years old, it has a really bright and lively tone. Now the Bad Bits. There are two splits to the top(one to the left side of the fingerboard. One to the right of the tailpiece) and a number of them to the back. Clearly there's been no impact damage, its just like the timber has dried out and opened up. I've attempted nothing to mitigate or ... morerepair theses splits, firstly because I don't have the confidence, and secondly because I dont want to wreck a certainly pretty and potentially quite valuable instrument. Stella or Oscar Schmidt First Hawaiian Conservatory model Concert guitar. Ca. late 1920s-30s. Project guitar. In as found condition, sold AS IS for parts or repair, no returns or price adjustments. I'm pretty sure this was made by Stella/Oscar Schmidt. But could also be by one of the Chicago makers like Harmony or Kay. Label reads: First Hawaiian Conservatory Of Music 9th Floor Woolworth Bldg. New York City" Looks like all solid birch construction. 25" scale length. Neck is 1 7/8" wide at the nut. Body is 13 1/2" wide at the lower bout. 9 13/16" wide the the shoulders,3 3/4" deep. Ladder braced. Although obviously intended as a Hawaiian slide guitar with an original high wooden nut. The neck has a large V profile rather than square. There's a 16 1/2" the entire length of the body) long wavy open ... morethrough-and-through crack on the back and another approximately 16" long one on the treble side rim. The bridge is completely off(it came off clean so reattaching it will be a breeze for an experienced repair person) One back brace is completely off(it's included) and the other back braces are loose. Hanging by a thread and need to be reglued. There are seam seperations between the back and rims at the butt end as well as the neck end.solidly atttached in the waist area, but I think it might be easier to remove the back in order to repair the braces and cracks and reattach it. Some luthiers might disagree and prefer to work with the back attached. Two of the pearl inlaid bridge pins are broken with the heads missing. The other four are intact. All we be included. Lots of lacquer checking/crazing and some normal for its age wear and tear. Two of the tuner buttons are missing. One of the shaft tips that the button attaches to is broken off. On the positive side: The top is flat and level. Not pulled up behind the bridge or distorted. No cracks in the top apart from a 3" superficial crack on the centerline behind the bridge near the rim. PROJECT Vintage Montaya Classical guitar NO RESERVE light project minimal work
Vintage Montaya classical guitar PROJECT made in korea and this is basically all original. It just needs some light bridge work. The saddle is just missing off the bridge(pic 5) I would recommend putting a completely new bridge on there but you may be able to get away with just a saddle. There is also a possible surface crack or minor repair in pic 10 at the headstock. But that is already fixed, that is not part of the project, and it is so light you can't really see it in the picture. It is to the left of my thumb in the pic. The tuners work. The neck is straight, the frets are in awesome shape, this is really overall a great piece. The guitar actually plays as is, but it should have a saddle for sure. If you have any questions please ask. And please keep in mind that this is a project, you will need to do work on this guitar, but that ... moredoesn't mean that it is destroyed, it just needs some bridge work. 2 PROJECT 60's Vox Pickup Phantom, Mark VI, BullDog, Teardrop, Bobcat Spitfire
This is a pair of Vox pickups. Each has one broken plastic end tab and one intact end tab. I have seen people rig them into the surrounds and make them usable even when both tabs are broken. One has been rigged with a piece of plastic. The other is waiting to be fixed. But there's an original broken off end piece that's included. Also included are: 3 original springs, and one non-original, 3 original and one non-original screws, and 2 threaded inserts. The pickups read 5.8 and 9.9 ohms and have 4 inches and 6 inches of original wire, respectively. Vox used these pickups on most of their electric guitars such as Mark VI and XII, Phantom, Spitfire, Bobcat, Bulldog, Lynx and others.

Nice Mandolin vintage 50s 60s Czech made mandola folk working project very good
This is an excellent flat backed instrument. Its in very good condition for age with great tone and projection. the action is a little high so the bridge may need replacing or shaving down and the neck has a slight dip but playable,so possibly needs work but good potential or use the parts, great tuners, tailpiece,bridge neck and body,selling as needing some work,may be OK as is? it measures 30mm at the nut. The fretboard is just over 9 inches long and nut to bridge is 13 inches and the entire instrument is 25 inches long, the body is around 9 inches at the widest point and around 2 inches deep, viewing or collection and cash is fine with prior arrangement
