this laptop does work but not well which is why it is listed for parts. it does have some liquid damage and once it is on. If it goes into a sleep mode it's hard to get it on- you'll have to restart. the batters isn;t working so once it's off the charger it turns off. there is some physical damage present. Once it's on and not on a sleep mode it works fine. The keyboard backlight doesn't turn on. All keys work and CDR/DVDR works too. USBs work and theres a small PC Card slot and ethernet slot as well. great project type laptop as there are only a few tweeky things. Trackpad and button also works. This auction for this Original Sixties Teisco Redburst& Chrome Electric Guitar. This is another project that I'm letting go. Both pickups are working. But are controlled by only one switch. There is a little static in the Volume and Tone controls. But only when you turn them. They obviously could use a little contact cleaner to clean them up. The action is low and very smooth. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent shape. And show very little wear. The nut needs to be replaced. The B string grove is cut too deep, and it frets out. I put a small piece of guitar string in the slot. And it plays perfectly. The finish is looking very nice on the front. But the back has the typical marks that you would expect to see on a guitar this old. Everything else seems fine. Antique Violin 4/4 size with Case and Two Bows!!! Project Violin
This is a very old violin. I can find no markings at all on or in it. The nice old case and the music inside the case would make you think it to be about 100 years old. The violin is very well made, lots of beautiful curly maple. As you can see in the pictures there is a crack on the top all along the treble side. The one bow is marked Made in Germany. Comes as you see it. Should be an easy fix and a very good fiddle.

These war time era Kluson tuners feature brass posts with'up top' string hole(NOT slot head style) Spacing is the standard 1 3/8" post to post center to center. They are in Good or'Average' condition for their age. Please see photos.One button is in fair condition: it has stable cracks and could last a while or fall off at any moment(alas.old Klusons. It may be original and shrank or it may be a period replacement. Unmarked but absolutely Kluson. As you Gibson guys know, these may not be butter smooth like modern U.S. made machines, but they are spot on period correct for a very special period in Gibson acoustic history. And they do function as they should. There is rust/ discoloration on the top(exposed) side of perhaps 20 to 30% finish loss. The back side of the plate ... moreis quite clean. These tuners could be cleaned up but I leave that to individual taste& technique. The peened worm gear design was a WW II process and metal saver. Tuners'slot' into place and gears are good. I think it is a Murray truck because of the M on the hub caps. The fire truck still pedals with a child operating it. All it needs is some elbow grease& a coat of paint. Kingston Guitar Neck 1960s Teisco Japan Tortoise Headstock Luthier Project MIJ
1960s Kingston Maple Electric Guitar Neck with Rosewood Fretboard with rare 6-Inline Tortoise Shell Veneer headstock. It is in great. Relatively unplayed cosmetic condition. However there are two issues that should probably be corrected- First, the fretboard has become unglued from the neck on the treble side around the nut and first couple frets(pictured in#5 and#6) Also, the headstock has a split in the maple that can be seen from the back(pictures#7-9) The truss rod works and the frets have a lot of life. The back of the neck is still nice and glossy. There are extra small holes where the tuners mount that are VERY close to the original stock holes and will certainly be covered by any installed tuners. This would make a great project neck with its beautiful tortoise shell style neck veneer.

Up for bids is this unusual vintage banjo from the late 1890's. Has an 11" pot and a straight neck. No breaks or repairs. Fingerboard and headstock has inlays of copper. Pewter and pearl- two copper inlays missing, and the dowel plate which said"Mystic' is missing. One of the talons on the tailpiece broke off but still usable. Needs strings, tuners, bridge and two shims to snug the neck to the pot. Picture 4 shows two small pieces missing from the fretboard on left side high on the neck. 1920 Enrico Marchetti Mediolanensis Premiato 4/4 violin. RESTORATION PROJECT. Label reads"Enrico Marchetti Mediolanensis Premiato Con Diciotto Medaglie Alle Primarie Espoitzioni Estere e Nationali Fecit Taurini Anno 1920" Full size(4/4) 23" total length. Body is 14" long not counting the heel cap. Nicely figured one-piece flamed maple back. Nice flame figure on the rims and a little bit on the neck. Spuce top. Ebony fingerboard, pegs, and tailpiece. A possibly original ebony chin rest is included, but a plastic one that is presently installed will be left in place. Two bridges are included, one has a chunk missing and the other one may need work or need to be replaced. The neck is detached from the body. There are some egregious amatuer repair attempts by some previous owner(NOT ME! in several areas: glue is slathered ... moreover a crack on the top. Laid on thick at the butt end near the endpin(filling in a seam separation) and(less thickly) around the top and back edges at the seams. The glue type used is unknown, it's clear and un-yellowed so it's likely this wasn't done that long ago. There's a 4 1/4" crack on the top at the center seam(this has some glue repair on it too) starting at the rim. A 5" long crack on the top from the bass side F hole to the rim and an adjacent 2 1/2" long one(these have the glue smeared on them) on the top. Also a very small(3/16" long unrepaired crack from the front lower lobe of the bass side F hole to the rim. Three possible(unrepaired) hairline cracks on the treble side lower bout of the topnear the rim. The rim is a little pushed in at the bass side of the endpin. On the positive side. There are no cracks on the back, neck, or pegbox that I can see. Two damaged bows that I got with the violin are also included: one is marked R. Arnold Stoess. has old repairs and damage at the frog end and the tip is completely broken off and missing, the rectangular pearl inlay on the frog is missing) the other has markings I can't decipher(

Zoom 505 guitar multi-effects pedal (project)
This unit has been in storage for some time. And has a few electronic problems. For the most part, all the effects work fine, switching works, save works. The only thing is, for some reason it's somewhat unstable. It's supposed to have settings A1-F4 available, but it will only do A1-A4 right now. If you are good at fixing electronics or just want something to experiment with or circuit-bend, this would be a good choice. Battery compartment and adapter plug both work.

Up for auction is a vintage cardboard box cover from a Kenner's Sparkle Paints set Popeye and his friends! I believe this is from the 1960's. The colors are just vibrant and the cover nearly looks brand new. The reason for this is that it was wrapped in cellophane and preserved like new when I purchased it as part of a boxed lot at an estate auction in Fort Meade. Florida. Although as you can see in the picture there is a slight hole on Popeye's Spinach can and also a small piece of the package tore away above his handing holding the spinach can with the exposed spinach. Vintage Antares bass guitar. Model APK-48, likely made in Japan c. 1970s. Similar to some Hondo models, possibly made by same manufacturer. This is a PROJECT. The bass is in poor cosmetic condition, is missing some parts and has been amateurishly converted to fretless. Electronics all there but not tested. The wiring is a mess and will need to be re-done, however the pickups may still work. Missing: tuners, nut, frets, strap buttons, bridge saddles, knobs, strings and rear cover. Some chipping on the back by the control cavity. On the plus side, the neck is straight and most of the missing parts would be fairly easy to replace. Vintage Encore E56 Jazz Bass Project 1970's ? LOOK
This is a project I never got around to. It's an Encore Jazz Bass model E56. The logo is barely visible as if someone tried to remove it. Plugged it in and it did a lot of buzzing. It's playable but needs some help. There is a crack along the neck from the 2nd to the 9th fret. Although it's surprisingly stable. Maybe you could shoot some glue in there and clamp it up. It's got scratches, it's missing knobs, and some binding is missing along the neck too. I was going to part it out for the tuners, bridge, saddles, pickups, control plate, etc. but thought maybe someone who had a bass like this as a kid might want to save it! This auction is for one vintage Frem Rojle Poul Volther designed project chair. We bought this chair to restore. At the time we were trying to find a forth chair to finish our set and we found this one that needed a lot of attention. When we found it. Someone had badly painted it white and added some extra holes to it. Fortunately they didn't paint the woven seat. We started to remove the white paint. That was as far as we made it before we found one in perfect condition to finish our set. So now we are passing this project on. Besides the white paint, they added a two bolts to the left rear leg and two extra bolts to the right side of the chair where the seat back attaches. They split the wood on the back rest when they added the extra bolts. I had planned on filling all the extra holes and fixing the splits in the backrest once I got ... morethe whole chair properly stripped and then refinishing it back to it's original glory. The woven seat with the manufacture stamp on the rear corner is in good condition. There is a little white paint on some of the strands closest to where the legs mount, but it should be easy to remove. The dimensions of the chair are 18.25" wide, 18" deep, and 30" tall. This chair will be disassembled for shipping. So you can r estore the chair.
