Up for bid is a Dryer Motor from a Samsung DV400EWHDWR/AA Dryer. This part was pulled from a dryer that was damaged in shipping. I had initially planned to repair the dryer but the damage was a little worse than i though so i decided to part it out. I did test and run the dryer. Everything worked but i wasn't comfortable that i could get the frame strait enough to be comfortable leaving the dryer running for long periods. All the damage seemed to be localized to the outer shell and frame so I am comfortable that the parts will make good replacements. These parts may or may not work in other dryers and since this is not my primary area of expertise I have no way to cross reference parts for you so please do your own research and verify part numbers before ordering. Up for sale is a vintage motor with a very unusual look to it. It reminds me of a govenor on an old hit or miss farm engine. It is made by the General industries co. from Elyria Ohio. The name is the flyer electric motor. It is in great running condition. It runs smooth. and it runs quiet. It stands 7 inches tall. It runs at 78 RPM. It is 110 volt. It is a 50-60 cycle motor. and it is 49 watts. I think it was manufactured in 1941. see picture# 2 lower right hand corner of the name plate.It appear as though there was some cast iron extensions that flanked each side of the(govenor) on the top of the motor that is MIA. Broken off. I don't know anything about this motor, other that what I have already stated. It quite possibly is a motor from an old phonograph.
