The Mylar Bumble Bee.022 caps are excellent guitar tone caps and were used in the original 1959 Gibson Les Paul The 200v. capacitor will have the same tonal qualities as the 400v. if used in a guitar. These however should NOT be used to replace a capacitor in an amplifier where anything over 200 volts is required. These are a recent pull from a fully functioning instrument. As with all Bumble Bee capacitors they tend to drift in value with age The vast majority of vintage Bumble Bees I have seen test high and these are no exception. These are all working and in good cosmetic condition but may be showing some paint loss to one side where glue was removed from where they were previously mounted. I have tested dozens of different capacitors in my own ... moreguitars including a Les Paul R9 Historic and I am always amazed at how fantastic the Sprague Bumble Bee sounds. Offered for sale with no reserve. Here is a rare Ortofon VMS 20E moving magnet cartridge complete with original packaging and including an even rarer CAP 210 capacitor. The CAP 210 was made by Ortofon for use with the VMS 20E to address the unusually high loading impedance this cartridge has.As in some setups, it could cause a rising treble anomaly(see photos for graph details) With the CAP 210 fitted this anomaly disappears and the sound is much more focused and natural, with tighter bass,smoother high frequencies and a somewhat more dynamic and up front sound stage.
