Here is a vintage Hickok model 209A VTVM vacuum tube voltmeter and capacitance capacitor tester meter. In good to VG physical condition, and sort-of-working electrical condition- both the"center zero" and regular"zero" functions work fine, meter needle moves smoothly and evenly throughout entire range, all tubes test strong, and all components(except power cord) look original so may well need some replacing of out-of-spec capacitors and resistors, so selling as a to-repair set- but you're off to a good start with this one. No probes or paperwork. Very large and fairly heavy, they don't make'em like this anymore, and the huge analog meter can be seen across any room!

DCA 2565, CAP 2.5 MFD- The shaft appears to be about 2 1/2 inches long and about 1/4 inches wide with screw threads at the end. The shaft turns in both directions very smoothly. Made in Korea I found this motor in the attic and do not know what it works with. I have not tested this device. But it looks like the motor is in excellent condition. If I were to guess, this motor was tried on something and was not the right part and then put back in its box and forgotten about. There were some spare parts in the box. Including a capacitor and some washers. Pictures serve as description.

Heathkit C-2 Condenser Checker. This is a great economical tester for finding leaky capacitors. The internal circuit has been checked over and components replaced as needed to bring it into proper functioning condition, switches and controls have been flushed with a non-lubricating contact cleaner and the tester is working as it should. The eye tube is good but not as bright as a new tube would be. While these are not known for their accuracy in reading capacitor values test readings were very close to a known value- this one is better than most I've seen, where this does shine is in its ability to find leaky capacitors up to 500 volt. Several known capacitors have been checked and it does find the leaky ones and shows the good capacitors as good. The LC102 is a great cap tester and since it can apply high voltage and monitor current. It's great for reforming capscitors. However, you have to keep pressing the Leakage button the whole time and this can get old after a minute or two. Sencore originally supplied a little spring loaded device to hold the button in for you. But those are almost all gone from the planet. I came up with a nicely working substitute. This is very smooth on both ends so it will not scratch your handle or the button. You just put it in place and turn the center while holding the end. It will expand in length and push in your button! This really works great. It stays in place easily and removes super easily too.

The capacitor is almost in perfect condition except I few cosmetics as shown in the pictures. It has never been dropped. And works dreams. I originally bought this capacitor to stop my headlight dimming problem and give an active readout of my voltage. This was installed in my old car and when I bought a new one I decided to not install my components so I am selling them off rather than having them collect dust in my basement. It comes with charging board, 1/0 Guage wire, new Tsunami battery terminals and a Scosche SPL1000F SPL meter that has a max and min feature to see what decibels you are hitting. This is a vintage American-made dual section variable capacitor in excellent cosmetic and working condition. The back section is 14-553 pF. And the front section is 12-476 pF. The 3/8" shaft is about 1" long.
