This unit is 66" tall x 15" wide. Removed from a Closing Blockbuster Video Store in Iowa City.Iowa. This is a good working unit with 10 feet of cable and brain box. There is a small chip in edge along one panel shown in the 5th photo, besides that they are in great condition, there is no key for brain box(unlocked) There is one area I removed tape from cable to see the purpose and saw that the coating for wires was worn through,and exposing one wire but wires in good shape. This unit was working with no problems and tested multiple times to assure this before dismantling. Unit is ready for installation. Up for bid is a Sensormatic Ultra Post 2 Security System that is approximently 9-10 years of age. Including two pedestals that can be divided up to 6' in width for store entrances. We have also put together our complete security package with the Ultra Post System 2 that we used at our retail operation while we were in business. Included in the entire package is 2000 hard(gator) tags for clothing, 2000 sticky tags, 1 de-activator for the sticky tags and 1 de-tagger for the hard(gator) tags. This complete system was more than $10,000.00 new when we bought it, but it sure paid for itself in no time, keeping the shop-lifters at bay. We were losing lots of merchandise to thieves right up until we installed this system. The day it was installed the shop-lifting stopped. Although there was the odd determined thief that would try to remove the ... moresticky tags from merchandise, with much difficulty, we would usually catch them. This system works great and is a great deterant alone. The only issue that we ever had was putting our merchandise too close to the pedestals which are quite sensitive. You need to keep your items at least 8' to10' back from the pedestals to eliminate false alarms. We are retired now and would like to see this security package sold to someone that needs to put a stop to shop-lifting in their business. Another tip to the retailer is that this system should be hard-wired into your electrical on its own breaker. It can be plugged into the wall if you like, but the thrifty shop-lifter may see the weakness, pull the plug and depart your store with your valuable merchandise.
