Kerr Spool Cabinet - Large 6 Drawer Model, Beautiful Finish
This large counter top/table top cabinet measures 25.25" wide. 21" high and 18" deep. It is fairly heavy at approximately 60 lbs. The finish isn't perfect but it is in very, very nice condition. Some light scratches on top can be taken out with a Formby's kit, a few very small nicks on sharp edges, etc. and one very small defect 1/4" defect on top about 3" from by back of cabinet that can be filled and stained if needed(never detracted from appearance so we just left it in place) No odors. The original insets on the face of the drawers that used to have spool types printed on them were painted over(that can be corrected- you can find plenty of examples online) Shipping on this will be via FedEx or UPS(your choice) and charged at exact cost. However, the monogram is LAW, so therefore, it could be given to someone who is in the law field and the initials would work. As a matter of fact the woman whom these belonged to I think may have been in the law field. I know her last name began with a W, but her first name began with an E. I also bought from her a sterling silver piece that had a gavel on it, so that is what makes me also believe that she was in the law field. They all have the makers mark on them as well as marked Sterling and 2700. Charming Antique Sterling Silver William Kerr Nursery Rhyme Rattle For Baby
Sweet antique sterling silver rattle. Approximately 3 inches long. Little Bo Peep sitting on a fence is pictured on one side. One of her sheep is pictured on the other. Great detail. As you can tell, this rattle has been very well loved! There are dings, scratches, a split in the seam on one side, the pin is missing that holds the rattle to the handle and the mother of pearl teether is broken. This set is by William Kerr and dates to 1895-1905. The pieces are done in a beautiful Art Nouveau style. With a floral motif of irises and leaves. The pieces have wonderfully cast and applied decorations as well as elegant hand chasing. The lines of the pieces and their floral designs are organic and flowing, true to the Art Nouveau style of the time to which it dates. Each piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no splits. No leaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The underside of each piece is stamped'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Kerr. As well as the retail ... moremark for Smith, Patterson& Co of Boston. The creamer stands about 4 1/4 inches tall. The sugar measures about 5 5/8 inches from handle to handle. Old Kerr Self-sealing glass jar Wide mouth mason 1915 patent Sand Springs Okla
This seems like a really old jar. So maybe it is from the early 1900s. The patent date is 1915, but that does not necessarily mean it was made that year. Great bubbles in the glass, shown in the pictures. There is also a picture showing wrinkles/glass imperfections. Not much scuffed up but there are those darn chips in the top rim; they are noticeable. 3 7/8" tall. I don't have a lid for it. It holds 2 cups liquid.

Large, almost a gallon, clear glass AHK Kerr jar with white metal lid #708 & #15
9 1/8" tall. With the lid on. That lid goes on and off easily. A fair amount of chipping and rust to the lid, examples shown in the pictures. No cracks or chips in the glass; even the rim is smooth, inside and out. Some very light scuff marks, not many of them, example of those shown in picture#5.

Up for auction I have a Pampered Chef 15" Pizza Stone. A Rack and bonus Graham Kerr Scrapper/Cutter. The stone is seasoned. It says Family Heritage Stoneware Classics Collection#010905. The rack is from Pampered Chef and meant to hold this 15" size stone. The Graham Kerr scrapper/cutter/measure, I believe is stainless steel and I thought it would make a good bonus item for the pizza stone. The rack and scrapper are in very good used condition. AUTHENTIC HISTORICAL LETTER FROM OK SENATOR ROBERT S. KERR
Here's a synopsis of the letter and the actual transcript below: The letter was written to Marie A. Clendenen on August 7. 1952. Mrs. Clendenen was the postmaster for Three Sands, OK. This letter from Senator Kerr. Was in response to a letter he received from Mrs. Clendenen concerning her plan to resign from her position as postmaster. The letter mentions that it is a followup to her phone conversation with Senator Monrone in which she discussed the plan to have Mr. Sam Neal replace her as postmaster of Three Sands. Senator Kerr states that he and Senator Monroney have relayed her information and made a recommendation to Assistant Postmaster General. Joseph Lawler, to appoint Mr. Neal as acting postmaster at Three Sands. Senator Kerr. In the last paragraph of the letter expresses his appreciation for Mrs. Clendenen's thoughtfulness ... moreof her personal remarks in reference to his presidential campaign activities. He stated that he plans to be in Oklahoma during the months of September and October and hopes to be active on behalf of the Democratic ticket and that perhaps they may have an opportunity to visit at that time. The letter is typed in blue ink on a cream colored stationary with the United States Senate. Committee on Finance heading along with a list in the left hand corner of the other committee members and chairman names. There is a watermark that looks like some type of shield with possibly greenery sticking out from it. Here is the transcript of the letter: August 7. 1952 Mrs. Marie A. Clendenen Postmaster Three Sands. Oklahoma Dear Mrs. Clendenen: I have your letter of August 6. Following up your telephone conversation with Senator Monroney, about your resigning from the postmastership there effective August 15, and of the desire of the people there to have Mr. Sam Neal replace you in this capacity.
