These are three nice vintage American made adjustable wrenches. There is a S-K Wayne 10" that was made in Defiance. Ohio and is in good working condition. There is a Crescent 8" that was made in the USA that is in good working condition. There is a Diamalloy 6" that was made by the Diamond Calk Horseshoe Co. Duluth, Minn. that is in good working condition. All of these wrenches are clean but have the patina of older wrenches. I debated keeping this for my own tool box. What persuaded me otherwise was that someone like you may be wanting a set of Peck. Stow and Wilcox wrenches and, even more compelling, this may be the one you're looking for to complete the collection! Rest easy-I have a 6" adjustable Crescent in my tool box. I'm set. The wheel turns smoothly. The jaw slides easily, the handle is straight. It has been used-see the closeups-but not abused. What struck me about this wrench was the thickness at the base of the jaws. It is.501" I measured a made in USA Craftsman 150mm(a quarter inch shorter) and it is.399" The Wilcox is beefy where it counts. It is sad they're not still in business. Making quality tools like this. Fortunately, we have folks like you who care about quality and preserving examples of it. Vintage Berylco Beryllium Copper 8" Crescent Wrench #W153 Bronze Non-Spark EXC
This is a nice little non-sparking 8 inch crescent wrench painted green originally with(I think) the users name"HNAD" hand stamped into handle and I don't know what the hand stamped#3 represents. Works great. Straight and clean and the crank threads have a slight bite of oil dampness to them. The smooth-face jaws are square showing only minor use. The moving jaw probably has more play than when it was new, but it doesn't seem that bad with approximate side to side play being just under 1/16 inch. Still a very functional wrench from my own tool box and I never abused it. Heck I was afraid to use it on anything but brass(for fear I'd hurt it)that probably happened twice in all the years I owned it. Communication is key! I love this antique or vintage stuff I sell.
