High-quality internal slide bolt made by"Stanley Works" of New Britain, CT sometime around the middle of the previous century. The set consists of an activator plate, rod, bolt, and keeper. All parts are solid steel, and were originally brass-plated. Some of the brass wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. If you are not familiar with this type of hardware. I t's the locking mechanism installed on one of the doors in a pair of double doors. For the purpose of keeping one door stationary, while allowing the other to swing freely. One of these bolts should be installed in the upper half of the door.
