This John Deere 4039 diesel engine is on a trailer that i purchased. It is a leaf sucking trailer& i was told by the mechanics at the city garage. That the clutch went out, but the engine ran before that happened. The clutch is MIA. The fan blades are bent and it's obvious that the fan ate the radiator. I am scrapping the radiator. I have changed the fuel filter and got fuel through the filter& to the injection pump, but have not had any success getting it from the injection pump to the injectors. It cranks over freely. I will try again when i get more time, but worse case scenerio is, the injection pump may be bad. 2005 bobcat skid steer T300 very low hours new motor
I bought the machine in 2008. I used it around my shop for grading stone and unloading trucks. The bucket got bent from unloading a pallet of brick. The machine was always maintenance as scheduled. I lost the door in a fire at my building. The side sliding glass is missing. I have a new frame glass and rubber seal it's not put together though. In 2010 the machine got stuck in mud it sank below the motor causing it to fail the motor was replaced at reading tractor. A copy of the invoice is attached. 1988 hrs right now. Only 9 hrs on new motor. The door would cost $250 for parts and labor to finish. sliding window is $175 brand new. I seen a good used bucket for $700. A little touchup paint you have yourself a very sound good looking machine.
