Up for sale is a Maverick M-425 and M-400 Check Encoder When powered on the receipt printer and encoder both respond to the buttons being pushed. The receipt printer actually prints legibly but the encoder only prints very lightly on the document. We do not know if this item is fully functional so we are selling it for parts or repair. Included in the sale also is the power supply. Power cord, and additional cords for connecting the units. Cosmetically the encoder itself has significant damage to the casing and is being held together with tape. Other than the flaw mentioned above there are signs of use such as scuffs. This listing is for a Maverick M-560d. High Volume MICR V Check Exception Item Encoder. It is complete with detached keyboard. Hopper and paperwork and is in near mint cosmetic condition. It powers up and appears to pass a self-test but has a bad LCD display. Our best guess is that it was received new and never put into service, due to the display issue- even the keyboard stickers are unused. Because of this, we're selling it as-is, even though it may work perfectly, apart from the LCD- we just don't know! The only other flaw we can find is that the paperwork is in pretty poor condition. If you know how to fix the display(which could be as simple as a loose wire. Or possibly more complicated) then here's a chance to get a basically new MICR V encoder for a song! This is the only one on ebay- don't let it get away!
