A lot of wire this old is heavily corroded; the picture of the stripped wire is about 6 inches in, and while it does have a little corrosion, it's pretty clean and no doubt the futher in the roll the cleaner it will be. I have a bunch of wire on consignment. With a lot of unusual cloth covered wire,so look at my other auctions, if you are into restoration now is the time to stock up.
