There is the odd small mark on the black finish of the binoculars and leather case but nothing bad. Look in great order for there age. Well. I never wanted to sell this camera but due to an insane tax bill I'm being forced to sell off some of our less frequently used camera gear. This is an Arax 60 MLU S/E(special edition) with custom green leather. It's really a customized and fully upgraded version of the Kiev 60 camera. You can read about Arax's upgrade process here: I bought this camera directly from Arax two years ago. It was a brand new camera(20 years old but never left the warehouse) I've only put about 10-15 rolls through it. They charge about $525 for it with the standard Arsat lens. But the one I'm selling comes with a Zeiss 80mm like a Hasselblad would use. As stated above. The camera comes with a Carl Zeiss Biometar 80mm f/2.8 MC(multicoated) lens in the P6 mount. This is the newest version of this lens, newer than the"zebra stripe" ... moreversion you'll see sometimes. I bought the lens separately from the camera here on eBay for about $350 two years ago right after buying the camera. The lens is in great shape, there are a few tiny specks of dust inside the elements but the image quality is great, especially when stopped down, and a bit dreamy(mostly the highlights) when wide open. The self timer is a little slow but still does work. The viewfinder shows some light dust, though nothing that affects focusing or composing or general use. Overall it is clear and bright. Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2 with 105mm f4.5 Tessar lens and Compur Rapid shutter
Up for sale is my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2 vintage folding camera dating from the 1930s. The camera is the version with a 105mm f4.5 Tessar lens and Compur Rapid shutter mechanism. It takes 120 medium format film and produces 6x9 negatives- amazing when scanned. The camera is in good condition for its age; the lens is free from any scratches or signs of fungus. The shutter speeds sound accurate and the bellows have no light leaks. The folding mechanism needs a bit of coaxing but this is typical for a camera of this age. Jhagee Exacta Varex, Dresden Germany, Case, Carl Zeiss 58mm Lens, Shutter Works!
This is a vintage Jhagee Exacta Varex SRL camera made in Dresden. Germany in the very early 1950s. My research indicates this was one of the first SLRs and one of the first of the sought-after Varex series. It comes with its original leather case and the Carl Zeiss Jena Nr. 3190749 Biotar 1:2 f=5,8 cm(red"T" fixed focal length lens. The lens aperture and focus ring operate smoothly. The glass is scratch free, but it does look like it may have some oil spots and/or fungus inside. It will need to be properly cleaned. There is a ding in the threaded outer barrel which doesn't affect basic lens operation. The camera has some condition issues due to wear and tear and less than ideal storage conditions(see photos) I have given it a light cleaning and oiling just to get things moving well again, but it will need a more thorough cleaning ... moreand lubrication. The case has some loose stitching and a broken strap. The camera shutter opens and closes at various speeds, and the winder winds, so at a basic level, the camera will likely expose film, but it has not been tested with film. Much of the silver on the mirror has come off, so this will have to be dealt, as well, in order to see clearly through the viewfinder. Vintage Antique Zeiss Ikon Nettar 516 Film Camera - Klio - RARE
I don't know much about this camera. After some research online. I found that these were produced in the late 1930s& early 1940s. This model seems to be a bit hard to find. The inside reads: Zeiss Ikon Film 6 x 9 cm B2 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 in Given my limited knowledge. I have not tried to clean the camera. It comes with a case. I don't know if it's the original. But it has an old musty smell. It also comes with a bulb trigger cable that screws into the camera. Again. I don't know if it's original but it appears to be old.
