Here is an exceedingly rare and wonderful set of Carl Zeiss binoculars. Spec 15x60. They are a deckmounted military variety of unknown age. The grey color should not be factored into your reckoning as the binoculars have been modified in several ways. First, they have been repainted. Second, a mount has been made for them, and possibly a screwhole bored. Lastly, the outer eyepiece lenses have been changed. But wait! I have the original eyepiece lenses, which are scratched, but not unuseably so: they come free with the sale of course. Leitz Leica Russian copy of Zeiss multifocal Viewfinder 28-135mm
Probably a counterfit of the Zeiss viewfinder of pre-WWII design. The Zeiss plant in Jena was taken over by the USSR post WWII; tooling and personnel set up to manufacture for the Soviet bloc. To make it more complicated; the Leitz logo has been engraved on this piece and to my knowledge Leitz never manufactured a design such as this. A very historical item of the cold war and rare due to the Leitz logo counterfit though it may be. There is some marks on the glass but viewfinder is still very usable. With original bakelite storage box. In nearly 45 years I have never seen another like it.

There are 3 dents to the covering on the back from the case ... morestuds, and paint wear on the edges, particularly at the ends. It is in fairly good working condition. The focus is smooth. The aperture control is slightly stiff, with some dried grease on the aperture blades. The shutter speed control is just slightly stiff. The shutter is working, and the speeds look and sound about right, but I make no guarantee as to accuracy. The external glass is clean but with a few very light, very minor scratches on the front element. There is dust and grime between the front focus elements. I see no fungus or mold. The front and rear doors open, close and latch properly, and the viewfinder pops up and latches back down as it should. A worn case, that needs repair and restitching, is included. Here is a beautiful example of the Ica Reflex Nr 752 10x15cm SLR camera. It is in amazing shape and has been well cared for. The leather is intact and in excellent shape. The viewing hood is intact with some wrinkles at the very top. The strap says Ica Reflex on it. The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f4.5 18cm. The diaphragm works fine. The glass is clean with some internal haze. The mirror shows tarnish and flaking when I look at it through the lens. The shutter does fire but is sticky. It will probably run better with some lubrication and exercising. The shutter curtains are intact but do have some wrinkles. The bellows look good but have not been tested for leaks.
