This is a Vintage Pre-War 1938 Rolleiflex Automat I Twin Lens Compur Rapid Camera. Serial# 616129. The Taking Lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 3. 5/75, number 2114428. The Finder Lens is a Heidoscop Anastigmat 2, 8/75mm. The Shutter is a Compur-Rapid 1- 1/500 sec. Other features include a Hinged Back with Exposure Guide and a Shutter Release Safety Lock. The back plate is German. Camera uses 120 Film. This is a German Made Camera from a company founded by Paul Franke and Reinhold Heidecke. This camera seems to be in overall good condition. A ZEISS IKON SUPER IKONTA 531/2 This is a fairly well used Super Ikonta but looks respectable and it all works. The black paint areas have been retouched and in reasonable condition only. The Albada viewfinder is misty due to age and the Bright Frame. Whilst visible is now deteriorating but usable. The Bellows are still good and intact, the Rangefinder works but is inaccurate and requires realigning. The focusing is smooth, a little firm and slightly scratchy in places but not that bad. The leatherette shows as used: intact with wear as would be expected for a used oldie. All speeds work and don't stick. The Self Timer works fine, but the little knob to move the cocking lever into the Timer position is longer there. The shutter blades are good: One side(Front) shows stains but the rear looks good. The lens. A Tessar 10.5cm f4.5 is surprisingly ... moreclean and in good condition with a trace of cleaning marks but nothing untoward. There is no Fungus or Haze. The 4.5 x 6cm metal frame insert is still with the camera. To summarize. A well used Camera that is in working order. Nice to own for what it is, or for those who are really keen on these cult cameras, may be able to restore it to'Excellent condition' Sold as is. Up for viewing is this all original pair of WWII era Carl Zeiss Jena Officers Field Binoculars with a built in rangefinder. Comes in it's original heavy duty brown leather case with a large belt loop holder on the back. When the inner lid is flapped down you expose a hidden compartment that contains anti glare lenses. The leather arm strap to the case is missing. Left in as is as found condition and I will leave any cleaning to the winning bidder if so desired.
