Offered for sale is a beautiful Weller Art Pottery Bowl in a great salmon color. I don't know a lot about Weller but I couldn't pass this up when I saw it. The first thing that caught my eye was the cleanliness of this piece and the pristine condition. It is great with no chips. No cracks, not even any crazing! The flower pattern is lily of the valley, although I couldn't find that pattern in the Weller book. The bowl measures about 6 inches across with the opening at the top about 5 inches across. This bowl stands about 3 3/4 inches to 4 inches tall. There are three feet, all of which are perfect. The piece is marked Weller incised with a G-6 underneath. The letter"R" is also there in a dark red or brown ink. Please see the photos for details of the marking and condition. The line was deigned by Charles Upjohn and each piece was etched with a needle and then hand painted and finished with a matte or glossy glaze. This piece is a three-sided vase. Finished with a medium green-blue background ans white and blue water with a fish swimming. Each side has a different pose of the fish that is a dark green and white in color. The glaze is matte. The opening is triangle and the bottom flows into a round base ring. The vase measures 7" tall, 4 3/4" across the shoulder and 2 1/4" on each side of the rim. The base is 3 1/4" in diameter. This listing is for a magnificent piece of Weller Pottery. This is a vase from the"Hudson" line and was produced between the early 1920's and the mid 1930's. The vase was hand painted by Mae Timberlake. One of Weller's best known artist. The vase has a large light yellow(whitish) flower that appears to be a daisy with a light green bloom behind and to the left of the light yellow one. The green leaves and twining vine wrap completely around the top of the shoulder of the vase. This is a lovely. Vintage piece of Weller pottery. It is a medium size bowl in a blue ombre, satin finish. Clearly marked"Weller" on the bottom. The bowl is dark blue at the bottom& gradually lightens to the top. It has a scalloped rim& ribs on the outside of the bowl. Around the bottom are 4 clusters of 3 leaves each. It has a small round base. It measures 7& 3/4" in diameter& stands 4& 1/4" tall. It is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. The only flaw I see is a little white discoloration on the inside, most likely from mineral deposits from soil. Lovely piece of Weller pottery! WELLER Blended Vase - Unknown line NR
Weller 7" high blended glossy-glazed vase. The drippy glaze the goes from a melon color on the bottom to green in the main part back to the melon shade at the top. At the top you can see the outline of the glaze running down the vase. The glaze treatment was significant enough that the build up on the base had to be ground off. Hand marked"Weller" on the base. I have seen other vases with this blended treatment but I have never seen it associated with any particular line or name. The vase has no repairs or breaks. The only issue I can find is a tight stress crack coming down from the top(see photo) a glaze pop from manufacturing and a small flea bit at the base near where the glaze was ground off. Displays well. A lovely addition to any Weller pottery collection.

Weller Louwelsa 8-1/2" Vase in an Unusual Color
A really interesting 8-1/2" tall Weller Louwelsa vase in an unusual color. It is a light taupe on the bottom and a bluish green on the top with a raised floral design. It is approx. 5" across at the widest point. The base is marked with a script"Weller" mark and a stamped"9070" There are some condition issues. There are tight hairlines at the base and at the top as well as some wear at the base(see photos) It has fine overall crazing to the glaze. It has a nice appearance even with the issues. Weller Pottery 5" tallDorland pattern vase; light blue
Weller Pottery vase is a light blue or teal color. The photos are not all true to the real color. The close up of the spot with the glaze problem is closest. The color is really more of a teal. Even in daylight. I could not get an accurate color. The vase is 5" tall and 5.75" wide at the top. No chips, cracks, crazing or stains. There is a spot on the rim where the glaze did not quite cover the pottery. From the little research I did, I believe this is the Dorland pattern. I try to ship within 1 day of clearing of payment or the weekend. I do combine shipping based on size and weight of the package.

This listing is for a large kitchen bowl made by the Weller Pottery. The bowl dates to the 1930's and is 11" in diameter at the rim and is 5 1/4" deep. The bowl rests on three feet. The outside is a basket weave pattern and the inside is smooth. The color is lavender or a light pinkish-purple. The bottom is marked with script"Weller Pottery/ Since 1892. The bowl is in excellent condition with two tiny chips on the rim(see pics 7& 8) The chips are about 8" apart. Samuel Weller founded his pottery company in Fultonham. Ohio, in 1872. The original business consisted of a small cabin and one kiln. The initial products produced by Weller included flower pots, crocks, bowls, and vases. Weller pottery is sought after by many collectors in todays market. The very early patterns, like"Louwelsa, 1896-1924} can command extremely high prices at auction. This auction is for a Weller"Woodcraft" pattern flower vase. The"Woodcraft" pattern was introduced in 1920. The vase is just about 8 1/2"H x 2 5/8"W at the base. It measures 2 3/8"W at the top of the opening. There are two small chips on the very bottom of the base. Also. When you look at the main photo use the close up tool to look at the top of the vase. You will see some lines that look like hairline cracks. THEY ARE ... moreNOT. They are simply lines in the finish. The colors on this piece are warm and pastel like. The Planter is large as it stands 4 7/8" tall and is 8 1/2" in diameter at its widest point which is outside apple to outside apple. The top rim is 7 1/2" outside diameter and 7" inside. This Vase has a wonderful green and brown earth tone glazes. The Vase displays several very realistic looking Apples. The Apples are hanging from Branches and are Ripe. Plump and ready for Picking. The leaves have very nice Detailing as you can see the Veining in them. The leaves are an Olive Green to Matte Brown Glaze. The Apples are glazed in Red with Green to Yellow Accents. I believe they are Macintosh Apples or"Macs" ... moreas we say here in the Northeast. The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks. Nicks, chips or dings. The front side depicts a few Oak Leaves with added Sage Green and Deeper Brown Glaze Accents on the leaves and tips. The backside of the vase has 2 embossed or raised Acorns rising up from a Branch that seems to wrap along the bottom and rising up to the top on each side of the Raised Patterns. There are 2 Vertical Twigs as I would call them are the vase. SILVERTONE is a popular Weller Pottery pattern from the late 1920s. And this fan vase is a very hard to find piece from that line. It measures just under 8" tall and 9 1/2" at its widest. On a base that's about 3 7/8" by 3 1/2" The top is mostly'serrated' with a different ... moremolded decoration on each wide side- bold thistle blossoms and foliage against a mottled background- and the vivid glaze treatment includes purples, greens and splashes of yellow, too. Probably the most interesting feature on this vase, though, is the two'openwork' leaves at the bottom, one on each narrow side. As we noted above. The glazing on this item includes splashes of pale yellow; this color is visible here and there on the front of the piece, but it's most evident on the interior. See next pic. Marks on the bottom include Weller's stamped'half-kiln' mark from the 1920s. Plus two hand-written marks- a large'A' or possibly an'R' and'12. that probably refer to the decorator and/or glaze treatment. Condition is excellent- no chips. Cracks, nicks, flakes, stains or other damage/ problems. We did note a bit of crazing on the interior surface and some soiling at the bottom inside- very minor and to be expected. Factory issues include some short and shallow lines in the clay(tool marks? underglaze, along the tops of 4 lobes on one side, plus some of the'points' on the openwork leaves have small underglaze flat spots on them-

Super Rare Vtg Antique 1926 WELLER Matte Black Footed Bowl Arts & Crafts Special
This footed bowl by Weller is one of their pieces from 1926 but I've never seen one in this color! We found the model in the book: American Art Pottery" by Dick Sigafoose. I've seen them in red and other colors but never black& that's why I couldn't resist getting it! Inside the book is a page from a Weller catalogue of 1926, showing what's referred to as a"flower bowl" in a"green satin finish" see photo! The example on that page also had a figural insert( this doesn't) The bowl decorated in a kind of arts& craft styling of what look like lilies. It's 9 1/4" wide by about 3" high. The name"Weller" is impressed in the clay on the underside. My finger is pointing to 2 things in the photos- 1) is a little scraped area to glaze 2) There is a teeny round chip in the ... moreglaze If you see it more than once in photos, it's because of the different angles. There's only one like that. There are a few fleabites you can see on the underside. Interestingly. To the right of the round chip, you can see a pinhead dot of blue- I wondered if this was under the black but it's not because where the fleabites are you can see the plain pottery. Directly underneath, proving it was really glazed matte black. This blue spot is on top but I am afraid to try to scrape it off- it is the size of a pinhead. Shipping to the US only please. Approximate dimensions: Height 10.5 inches Diameter at top of vase is 5.5 inches with base measuring 4.75 inches. Beautifully painted forest scene with winding road to a lake. Chip on the top of the vase with u shaped crack down vertically and laterally. Also chip on the bottom of the vase. Small pinhead white spot at the base. Surface chip on the tree to the left of the lake. Holds approximately 4 inches of water. Higher water level will leak at crack.
