I have two of these pumps available. I don't know what they were used for as I bought them just to resell. The factory was still in business and operating when I got these pumps. I did test them too. They both work. No burning smell or anything like that and the vacuum works as well. One of these pumps are missing the cover. So whoever does buy it now first gets the one with the cover.
