You a bidding on a well used but perfectly operational Trimble 4800 RTK receiver. It has the last(1.3) version of firmware produced for that receiver. As you can see from the photos. I tested the unit and tracked 7 SV's in my tree lined parking lot next to an R8 the tracked the same 7 GPS satellites. The power, data, and sat LED's all work. All three ports work and still have their dust caps. The unit does not have an internal radio modem. The unit has internal memory for data logging. The unit comes complete with 4800 Receiver. Carry case, manual, external power(battery) cable, data cable(4800 to PC or TSC2) data cable(4800 to TSC1) 4800 battery charger(works but no batteries are included which is why I included the external battery cable) All you need to add is an external battery and some type of controller(TSC1/ TSC2) to operate ... moreit. No scratches on the touch screen at all and the touch screen works perfectly. I just put a new screen protector on it as well. I tested this unit and it is in perfect working order. It is a very clean unit and should provide years of service. The battery fully charges and I have run it for over 15 hours before recharging. There are a couple of stress cracks in the plastic housing where the rod clamp/ cradle rides but they are not problematic. You can make them out in the photos. Some moron simply felt the need to tighten the cradle as tight as they could. I see this on almost every TSC2 that has ever been used. I just updated the firmware on this unit to 12.49(latest) before running it though the testing. In addition ... moreto the touch screen being in perfect condition. The keyboard, all the ports, bluetooth sound and WiFi all work flawlessly. This unit does not have the 2.4GHz radio modem for use with the S6, S8, or VX robotic total stations but it can be upgraded by a Trimble dealer if you wish.
