Ford 545D Industrial Diesel Tractor w/Loader; 2WD, PTO, 3 Point Lift; NO RESERVE
This model has a 3 cylinder diesel engine. 540 PTO, 3 point hydraulic rear lift, 2 sets of rear auxillary hydraulic hookups, drawbar, inching/throttle pedal, shuttle shift transmission with Hi/Low range and 4 speeds for a total of 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, locking rear differential and rear wheel weights. There are lifting loops with chain grooves on the top of the bucket, the bucket is in exceptional shape and shows little signs of use. Machine shows just over 1,550 operating hours on a working hour meter. I am currently using this machine to prepare our green fields for deer season, exact operating ours will depend on use of machine up until it is purchased. I changed the engine oil and greased the fittings on the tractor back in July. Unit was previously owned by a minicipality, machine has been well maintained. Cab is equiped with ... moreheat. Seat has a rip in the cloth on operator's left side. Overall condition of the seat(suspension type) is good with armrests in place. The sheet metal on this machine is extremely good. Tractor cranks easily. Fuel recently drained, replaced with fresh fuel and treated with diesel additive. Fuel, temp, RPM and hour meter are in working order. Strong hydraulics on front and rear, front bucket control is a single stick and works well. PTO starts& stops as it is supposed to, has lots of power. The cab windshield is cracked at the base, rust around cab door bottom edges. The power steering pump/system had a leak in it. I believe I have fixed this issue. All hydraulic systems, clutch, brakes, gears, front and rear lifts work well. I believe I have fairly described and photographed this equipment. It has not been restored but has been properly maintained in good working order. Whenever service was needed. It was done. Last service by a dealership was completed in September 2013. Mechanically and cosmetically it is in very good condition. The tractor does have a few scratches and bumps that you would expect to see with the low hours showing on ... morethe meter. It has been serviced less than 100hrs ago and has been on a regular service schedule by the previous owner. The synchronized shuttle shift on the steering column is great when using the loader or baler enabling quick direction changes. The clutch pedal seems to have good travel indicating good life left in it. The hydraulics operates strong and seems to be in good working order. The PTO is working as it should. The loader has been used with the hay fork primarily and very little use with the bucket so. With this said, it has not had much stress on the loader and tractor frame. The A/C blows cold air and the radio works as it should. It has two rear remote hydraulic valves and a working PTO to work a variety of attachments. The only negatives that I see in the tractor are the tires don't match. One of the front tires has been replaced and has lots of tread left and the other is more worn. But all have life left in them. This thing will go anywhere you want it to go.also I love that it has the industrial tires on it which are a little wider an shorter than the normal ag tires, but its a lot more stable driving sideways on hills than the taller ag tires. the loader is the universal quick skid steer type connection so hooking up other attachments to loader is super easy.u just pull 2 pins. the bucket is not beat up or dented up.the loader also runs off its own hydraulics so you still have 2 free hydraulics on the rear to use.the loader is NOT hooked up an using the rear plugs like a lot of cheap loader installs are done otractors. the rear hitch is HEAVY DUTY an also has the HD stabilizer bars to keep attachments from swinging around on when using it. the bushhog in pic does not go with it.
