We are pleased to offer this nicely made hand forged ring with two chains and two hooks. Old and blacksmith made. We believe this was used in either logging or a sawmill. Overall length with the chains stretched out is 7' 1" If both chains are hanging straight down this measures 44 1/4" from the outside of the ring to the end of the hook. The ring diameter is 3 1/8" o.d. The hooks measure 7 7/8" and 8 1/4" long and are 1/2" thick. If you have followed our auctions in the past. Meadows Vintage Sawmill 3 Headblocks, 56" saw all manual operated
Offering a Vintage Meadows 3 Headblock all manual operated Sawmill. Has Carriage and track to handle 18' or maybe even up to20' logs. I restocked the Saw Cab with Western Cedar custom milled by Boone Lumber Co. and the Mill has been in a sawmill shed since, I set it up for my own personal use and may have sawn about 10,000 board feet of lumber etc, it is belt driven I used a tractor with a belt pulley drive to power the Sawmill, the picture with the big flat pulley shaws a channel iron structure with sprockets and roller chain, this is a system I designed to power the mill from the tractor PTO since it was simple to just back up and attach the PTO shaft and you were ready to saw, the problem was the chain would began to get hot if you saw more than a 30 minutes without lubricating the chain, but since I only used it for limited sawing ... morethat didn't bother me but for continueous work you would need to use the belt power input and the belt drive pulley is still with the mill The outfit includes the Sawmill with a dust chain drive and chain, a Frick Edger and several feet of roller bed. Beautiful Antique 48" Sawmill Saw Blade 34 teeth with removable inserts and
Large antique sawmill saw blade that would make a superb addition to any rustic decor or for up-cycle. It is 48" in diameter with 34 teeth that are 2 1/2" wide across the top that are fitted with removable inserts.one of which is missing) One side has a beautiful. Rusted patina and the printed characters LAND-303 that remain visible. The other side has some evidence of having had been coated or painted at one point and has no visible printing. The center hole is approx 2" wide and the pin holes are about 7/8ths" wide and sit 1/2" from edge of center hole. There are also 4 holes that sit about 16" from center. This is a solid piece of iron and although I can't get it on a scale, my best guess is that it weighs in the region of 60 LBS. I will not attempt to ship this item but I do invite local pick-up. Sawmill Blade Guides for a Band Sawmill
These are heavy duty blade guides for a band sawmill. They were made from 3" diameter steel stock and use sealed bearings on a 5/8" shaft. They are designed for a 1.25" blade. They are in very good condition and ready to mount and use. I built a sawmill using the standard type blade guides used on small commercial made band sawmills which are made from 2 inch diameter steel stock.and sell for well under $100. After cutting a lot of lumber. I knew that I could build a much better band sawmill. As a result, I sold the sawmill and built another one. It is a great sawmill and I sell the plans for building the improved sawmill here on EBay. These guides are the original guides I built and used on the improved sawmill. They have cut about 2,000 bd ft of hardwood before they were replaced by an improved design. They are made from ... more3" diameter steel stock and use sealed bearings. The reason you want to use larger rollers is that they provide less stress on the blade. The improved blade guides I now use are the same roller size, but I use a roller bearing against the back of the blade instead of a lip, as these guides use. Most lower cost band sawmills use the lip just as the guides for sale use. I switched to a bearing design to reduce blade friction somewhat. A pair of blade guides similar to these guides offered for sale sell new for well north of $300. So I believe you will find this an excellent price.

Mighty Mite Portable sawmill, 30" log, 18hp V Twin Honda, made in Oregon
I bought this about 5 years ago brand new and haven't used it much in the last couple of years. Mostly what I use it for now is making fireplace mantels. It works good and I can demonstrate it when you get here to pick it up. The only thing I don't like about this mill is that when the throttle is turned way up the blade vibrates quite a bit, so after making a cut I have to turn the throttle down, I don't know how to adjust it to make it stop doing that. There's a couple of other more minor things too that need attention. Comes with 2 extra brand new blades. This company has been making these for about 30 years, they are based here in Oregon, the Portland area. I haven't moved the sawmill even once since I bought it, it's been sitting right where you see it when I first brought it to my wood shop. Has electric brakes ... moreand electric start, I don't know if the lights will still work or the electric brakes. I keep the Honda engine covered when it is not in use and I have the owners manual. 2012 Timber King 1600 Portable Sawmill, less than 100 hours
For sale is a Timber King 1600 portable sawmill. It is a 2012 model. With less than 100 hours. I also have several blades that go with the mill. It has full hydraulics, log lifting arms, log turner, log clamp, head up and down, forward/back head travel, and manual log stops. It also has 6 leveling jacks, electric brakes, and a digital read out meter that will help position the head to exact thickness of cut. It does not have the"simple setworks" option that is found on 2014 mills. It is however much less expensive than new, new models sell for 24k plus 2k shipping and 8% Missouri sales tax. The mill runs very well. And can be demonstrated for serious buyers only. It is located in Central Virginia, 1 hour from Richmond, and 30 minutes from Fredericksburg. A Single Bit Axe that is marked GAMBLES ARTISAN and TO-14 13-86 on the head. It weighs approximately 4 pounds 15 ounces. Total length is 34 ¾" The head measures approximately 7⅝” from bit to poll and 4 ¾” from toe to heel on the bit. The head still retains some of the original blue paint with some dings. Scratches, surface rust, light pitting and the cutting edge will need sharpened if it is to be used.
