None of these will affect mounting or operation-the mounting surfaces are all unharmed. This unit otherwise looks like it just came out of the box and it is also clean. This is a used Walter model#RTG800 rotary table. The diameter is 800mm. It is very good to excellent condtion with only one drill point mark in the table surface. There is a dividing/indexing attachment installed.This table was only used on a jig borer to put hole patterns in and was NEVER used for milling. So the worm& worm gear have to be in like new condtion. New cost for this in the mid 80's when I bought it was over $32,000.00. It moves very smooth and the locks work well. 4th axis rotary table. Excellent cond. New Motor. Internals perfect. Freight.
Here is an unknown manufacturer 4th Axis. I bought the unit because I wanted to have a spare. And one with a larger through hole(1.250" I took the unit down to its bare components and cleaned and inspected everything. No makers marks are to be found anywhere. Not even on components inside. This is circa 1982. And I suspect it is Japanese or German made. Fasteners are metric, bearings inside are US made Timkin. The worm and screw are FLAWLESS. this unit was dirty when I got it. But shows no signs of abuse. The internals are perfect. This unit IS adjustable for wear. The screw can be lowered down onto the worm gear and a shim stack(built this way intentionally to make up for wear-of which I can find NONE) can be modified to seat the screw deeper into the worm if needed. When I put the unit back together. I did not change the shim stack. ... moreThe unit has no perceptable backlash, and I try not to fix something that is not broken. I compared this unit to my Peiselier(german made) 4th Axis. And They are both equally tight. This table is a great 4th Axis. I Put on a new 1400oz stepper. And built a motor mount. The belt is a 1/1 ratio timing belt and I built in a ball bearing adjuster to take any play out of the belt. the adjuster took me the better part of a day to design and build) I power this unit with a G203V Geckodrive and it runs excellent. Geckodrive not included. I need the money more than I need a spare 4th Axis right now. So up for sale it goes. I will be happy to demo this unit for a potential buyer. This unit is both horizontal and vertical. I have the brake components(internal) but I did not reinstall them as I never have needed to run a brake on my 4th axis's. And I did not want to have to plum comp air to the unit to unlock the brake. I will include them should the buyer want to make the brake functional. I will crate or pallatize. It has bouble locks on the rotation and is very nice to use. There shows in the one photo a very slight surface oxidation but it can be cleaned up like new. Clean. Fully functional drill press or mill XY rotary table. Micrometer dials for X and Y and a protractor graduated in degrees for the table. The table is 7" by 7" with slots for t-nuts. The table base is 8" by 8" with multiple slots for hold-downs. NO dabs on the table. Formerly used for woodworking, so there is still a little sawdust on it. Both cross-slide tables are gibbed for precise adjustment. The table screws are tight, with very little backlash. There is a 1/2" hole machined in the center of the table for an alignment dowel or device of your choice. Very nice tool. It will be partially disassembled for packing and shipping in order to minimize ANY possibility of damage. I pack as if it were a"da Vinci" and will include reassembly directions.
