As you may or may not know these models were recalled by Tektronix for a defect. The vertical sticker on the back indicates that this scope had the defect repaired by Tektronix. Excellent accuracy. The second image show a 6V 10KHz signal fed into both channels. Other photos show an NTSC waveform with a closeup of the colorburst signal. LCD screen has a minor scuff thats barely noticeable when turned on(see images) No burn in, traces are sharp. The images show weird shading but the screen is evenly lit. It is in perfect working and cosmetic condition with all original accessories.No manual.I have tested All 4 channels with the internal and external signal generators. They all perform as needed. This oscilloscope has few very nice features: It has self calibrating option. It has a printer. There is a picture of one of the printout that I made. Also included is spear new paper roll for the printer. This oscilloscope is digital and has an interface with a computer I believe Lab view can be used but I do not have a software and cable. Tektronix Type 453 dual trace 50 MHz Oscilloscope
Tektronix Type 453 oscilloscope: 50 MHz dual trace scope and compensating probe. Probe is 10 Meg. 7.0 PF, 9.0 FT, 600V. Knobs and switches appear to work although not extensively tested in all combinations. The pictures are of the actual unit. The three wave form pictures were generated using a Heathkit AS10 signal generator. They are a 1.0 MHz. 100KHz and 1kHz square wave(channel A) and sine wave(channel B) The distortion in the square wave results from the quality of the AS10, and the frequency span was limited by the AS10. I have used this scope for more than ten years and am downsizing a little. It is in good cosmetic shape and nothing appears to be missing. This is the Operators. Organizational, Field and Depot Maintenance Manual and covers operation, triggering instructions, circuit description, maintenance, special tools and equipment, calibration procedures and a parts list. There are lots of photos, illustrations, tables, diagrams and schematics included. Tektronix TPS2014 isolated digital storage 4 channel oscilloscope.100 Mhz. Used. But it has been tested and is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically it is in near perfect condition with only very minor scratches to the plastic housing. Serial number C012220. VINTAGE ELECTRONIC OSCILLOSCOPE DUEL TRACE 1950'S 6 INCH ROUND SCREEN
I have up for auction a Vintage Electronic Oscilloscope that has been tested and it works. This has a 6 inch round screen. Duel Trace, This was Calibrated 12- 77. This a 1950's Vintage piece. I myself do not have much knowledge on this kind of stuff but a friend who does tested this out and it still works. The Oscilloscope is approx. 15.5 inches long,8 inches wide and 11 inches tall. It is in good condition for the age of the piece. This came from the estate of a man who had an Electronics store in Ma. It was gently used in his business. Wrapped you are looking at 30 lbs.
