I am offering a TLA 7D2 module for parts or repair. I got it in a bundle from another auction. And did some diagnostics. It is sold"as is" No returns, not working, for parts or repair. It is in decent physical condition as seen in the picture. Some additional information: The module has only one channel working from input connector as shown in the picture. It has damaged input attenuators and preamplifier hybrids(which is a typical result of misuse of inputs and the most common failure of DSOs) The corner of CH4 hybrid is broken. These hybrids type H2462H are exactly the same ones as used in Tektronix TDS 744. TDS 784 and few other digital storage oscilloscopes. The module passes digital tests and has all four ADCs on acquisition board working. I checked their functionality with good attenuators module and could get waveforms on ... moreall four channels. However. With damaged attenuators the unit cannot do self calibration and that is why calibration memory checksum fails. The calibration routine will not complete even if one of attenuators is failing, so I am not sure how many hybrids need replacement(my guess is at least two) I am attaching a picture how the attenuator module looks like. These modules are rare. If you need the boards for repairing another 7D2 or can get H2462s and repair it it could be a bargain. Please ask questions if you need any more details before bidding.
