Nice Armstrong 1B boring bar toolpost with holes for 5/8" 3/4" 1-1/8"bars. Comes with 1 boring bar as you see in pictures. Previous owner was a retired toolmaker with a Southbend lathe and a Clausing lathe. I am not sure which lathe this came off of but like any toolpost you will purchase there is a chance you will have to modify or remake the plate to fit you carriage. It is not a very big piece of metal to make and can be done with a file by even a novice so please do not ask me to measure this one to see if you can just put it in your lathe. Welcome I am selling a terrific 1932 Atlas metal lathe model 936. 9"36" bed) It could use some cleaning/oil/and maybe a little paint but over all.in very good, original condition! All gears are in good condition. The 36" flat ways bed looks good, everything moves freely. Included: Original follow rest(repaired/welded at the top) a 6" Atlas 4 jaw chuck; tool post; a decent amount of cutters. For sale is a set of quick change tool holders as shown in the photo. These are very small. I don't know what brand they are, they do not fit any quick change tool posts that I have seen on the market. A tool post is not included. You will have to find one or make one. I don't know if these were made in a shop or if they are of any brand. Either way they look to be made very well. The dove tail that you will have to try to mate to is about.74" at the narrow part, about 1" at the widest part end, 25" deep. It is old. Therefore sold with no returns.

Craftsman metal lathe - lufkin planer nice height guage
For your consideration is a Lufkin planer 900 series with a offset scribe& straight scribe. This also comes with the button and screw and 3 inch extension. As you can see from the photo's this planer serves well such as measuring the height of the tail stock center and then checking the center on the work in the chuck as well as checking the height of the bit in the lamp post to find it's actual center for the work it's going to do. I find this planer to be just great for working with a lathe or just checking work with whatever your tinkering with. It's just awesome to have. Just take a caliper and set it to the thousands you need for critical work and set it to the height you need for layout or even checking run out or do some serious layout work with it. The built in level is right on. Simply a must have tool if you ... morework with design. This Lufkin planer comes only the extension and 2 scribes and with the button and screw that holds the scribes on to the body. The planer is used with minute discoloration of the metal here and there. I always take good care of it so your more than welcome to add it to your toolbox. Please take notice. For sale is a nice Lathe made by South Bend. It is a 10K Model A with a gap bed and horizontal drive. It has a 4.5 foot bed with 35" max between centers. It needs belts. It has a 4 jaw chuck included. and a tool post. There is a quick change gearbox with a very wide range of ratios. The original scraping marks are still visible on the carriage ways. The dials are large style for easy reading. It looks like it was used by a hobbyist. There is power feed for the carriage and the cross slide.
