It turns nicely but I know nothing of it's ... morehistory so it's possible it may need to be rebuilt. The cap looks good with no obvious cracks but that's not to say that once it's removed. Cleaned and inspected there might be a problem somewhere on it. The last photo shows a partial view of the inside condition. The gasket wasn't cooperating so I didn't go any further and be the one to rip it- it most likely will need to be replaced anyway. The 2 hold down screws on the cap are there but the 2 hold down nuts aren't, although those 2 studs look fine. There's no metal ID badge evident to me on it, and the decal type ID label is pretty much worn off so I'm not able to supply a model number(photo 3) As mentioned, this is being sold as is, and may need a rebuild and some replacement parts. You are looking at a vintage Ericsson telephone. This is number N2204A10. It is British I believe. This is how it was described a long time ago: This instrument is the equivalent of the modern bakelite table set but arranged for wall mounting. And is ideal for indoor use where space is limited. The casework is of the same neat design as that used for the automatic and C.B. sets and embodies the same new features. I.e. the case is gate-hinged and the cradle construction enables the micro-telephone to be suspended vertically over the front of the instrument. The interior components. Consisting of"alnico" generator, anti-side-tone induction coil, condenser, ringer, switch and terminals, are mounted as a unit which can be readily removed from the case; alternatively, the case with equipment unit attached can be lifted off the hinges ... morefor maintenance purposes. Sets are available with standard generators or. For long line working, with heavy duty generators. The inside is very clean. It has no cracks. The receiver part has a T. E, L on it. It is bakelite. The crank turns freely. It has some paint on it. The paint can be easily removed I would assume, but that is for you to do. It has an old phone number on it. Area code is 306 and phone number is 188. The only area code that I can find with 306 is the Saskatchewan province of Canada. Area codes started in 1947 in Canada. Maybe you can find a phone number for 188 in the Saskatchewan Province. Solid Oak Western Electric Ringer Box with 45A 5 magnet magneto Patented in 1894
A Christmas gift for that person that has everything. Good conversation piece. This solid oak ringer box was made by Western Electric probably around 1910. It originally was designed for wall mounting but has felt feet so that it can be displayed on a coffee table. It's dual-toned bells ring when the crank is turned. Careful inspection of the pictures show the bells to be made of slightly different colored alloys so that they have a old timey dual ring. The wiring is all original cotton insulated and not at all brittle. The brass screws give a final touch. The corners are dovetailed to nicely show that this is made from solid oak and has a hand-rubbed oil finish. I believe the WE model number is 300N. There are some dents as can be seen in the pictures that give this showpiece a unique look. I show the box with and without the magneto ... moreas you might not want the magneto in the box so that it can be used to hold candy. Remotes, money and honey-do lists. One can sell the magneto for $70-100 as a separate item. I do not want to list separately at this time as they are a matched set. A barn find in the North part of Louisiana that was connected to a 1910's E1Spit-Cup handset on a dialless D1 base. In use a dry cell was connected to the B terminals, Ground to G and the phone line to L1 and L2. The R, G and Y are where the phone Red, Green and Yellow are attached. Alternately one might use the magneto to go fishing in the Bayou as it puts out a good jolt(LOL) Guaranteed to be in working order. A lineman’s telephone test set. Model 17-C, manufactured by the Western Electric Company of Chicago, Illinois, and used Power Company line crews before the adoption of portable radios. Condition: The unit was tested only by attaching a voltage meter at 45 and turned the crack revealing that the unite was indeed producing voltage. Crank is working fine. Exterior has typical wear from use and age with some dried shrinkage cracks in the wood. A single screw keeps the front door closed(locked) Size and Makeup: About 9” tall. 6” wide, and 5” deep. Vintage Western Electric 90511 hand crank magneto telephone ringer generator. This is a heavy wood box. It is marked on the front"Western Electric made in U.S. on a label. Below the label it says 50 000 engraved into the wood. It has two post contacts on top. It does not open by hinge. But wood screw from the front and back. It is missing a leather strap, but the brackets are there with remnants of the leather on both sides. It has a hand crank that does turn. It has a chip out of the bottom of the hand crank, but it is not falling off of the post. On the bottom of the box it has numbers engraved 90511. Old 1877 Crosby Brass Steam Engine Tractor Train Whistle Hit Miss Magneto WOW
This is a rather unique early Crosby brass steam whistle. It measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter at it's largest point and about 8 1/4 inches long. It is completely made of brass or bronze except for the lever which is cast iron. There are three separate chambers in the top part of the whistle. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and other than a few dings and minor dents to give it age authenticity. It was made by the Crosby Steam Gage and Valve Company in Boston, Massachusetts. It was patented on January 30, 1877. I'm not sure if the top finial is original or not as it doesn't thread on any further although the threads on the stem and in the nut are in good shape. The valve works as it should. The unfortunate part of this whistle is that it has been cut off just below the valve. I'm sure ... morewith a little time an talent this could be corrected. Or, flatten it out and make it a shelf pet. The pictures tell the story. These early whistles don't come along very often so don't miss it. It's still pretty appealing to the eye. Good Luck.

This is an original PUSH ROD with WEBSTER MAGNETO TRIP FINGER for a 1 1/2. 1 3/4. Or 2 hp HERCULES or ECONOMY hit and miss engine. Complete push rod with return spring. Roller is nice and spins freely. Complete webster magneto trip part number 345K30. The wedge looks to have been welded probably due to the set screw being over tightened but it is an excellent repair and hard to see. Other than that there are no cracks, breaks, or welds. Old Wico AX Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Motor Steam Tractor Ignitor Oiler EK PR
This is a extremely hard to find original Wico AX high tension magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It is fresh out of an early collectors estate and is untested. The case looks to be pretty good with a few minor blemishes and the leadout looks to be real nice. These AX's are the big brother to the Wico EK magnetos and were a bit earlier. They were made for an extremely short period of time! They were used on some of the Novo. Hercules, Economy, and Domestic engines and possibly a few others. I believe that of the parts to rebuild them are available as they are the same as PR parts. It mounts with two holes 1 1/8 inches apart on center. If you've been looking for one here's your chance. It would also be a good spare on the shelf. I've had and sold hundreds of magnetos and I can't say that I've ever seen another one ... moreso don't miss it. The pictures tell the story. Good Luck.

Old Fairbanks Morse J Allis Chalmers Tractor Magneto Hit Miss Engine Steam Oiler
This is an original Fairbanks Morse Type J4B73 four cylinder flange mount magneto for an Allis Chalmers tractor. Power unit, or other application. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works perfectly. The magneto is fresh out of the estate of an early Allis Chalmers collector. It is untested for spark. It does need a distributor cap as there are a couple issue areas on it but it would probably work the way it is. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere else on it. It has some orange paint on it but this seems to come off fairly easily. The pictures tell the story. These original magnetos don't turn up that often. Don't miss your chance on it. Good Luck.

Motsinger auto sparker D.C. magneto for ignitor fired engines hit and miss
Very nice old Motsinger D.C. generator auto sparker. Serial number 3410 with Pat. dates feb 8. 1900/ 1903. This generator produces well over 6 volts and is enough to run through a low tension coil to the ignitor to run a hit and miss engine. These were made in Pendleton Indiana by Motsinger, so you started on batteries and then engaged the generator to run the engine thus saving hard to get batteries in the early days. There is some pitting on the back plate of the drive wheel but does not affect the function and the mounting holes are 4 3/4 inches on centers. These generators are getting hard to find in usable condition, being over 100 years old and many have parts missing but this one is complete. I have tested it but is sold as is. 1911 WESTERN ELECTRIC 317 A.H. OAK MAGNETO WALL PHONE
The model 317 magneto wall phones were introduced in 1907 and remained in production for about 30 years. A mainstay telephone for Western Electric. This particular example has a long cast iron transmitter arm. The model numbers stayed the same however many changes to the phone were made over the years. I believe this a 1911 model. The brass plate on the mouthpiece reads: Western Electric 353W PAT IN USA?013. Inside on the bottom left there is an imprint reading 317 A. H. or A. P. I don't know much about old phones, but currently no way to know if this phone works. However, I am sure it can be repaired by a company that specializes in that. Very cool looking collectible item and in good condition for its age. The phone is very heavy and therefore shipping is high, but worth it. If you are in the New York area, you can always pick it up.

STRONG 150 Volts+ Crank Western Elec. 48-A 5 Bar Magneto Generator Phone Part
Selling this Original. Smooth Cranking, Antique 48 A, Western Electric 5-Bar Hand Crank Magneto, Generator"As-Is" from the pictures provide. Also included are four mounting bolts/washers. I tested this magneto/generator up to 100+ volts A/C while cranking the handle pretty fast by hand with my Simpson Multi-meter. I also got steady readings of around 150 volts+ A/C turning at a steady pace with the drill on the Simpson Multi-meter(see pic# 11) The plate on the front of the generator reads: 48-A" The label on the center bar reads: Western Electric, Made In U.S.A. There is a small chip on the spinning handle on the crank, and there is a little light rust on some of the magnets. I have not reworked this Generator/Magneto, other than light cleaning& few drops of oil on the gears, and selling generator as an original, As-Is"

Magneto pinon gear for a Fuller& Johnson engine. This is the old style with the magneto being driven by the cam gear. Fits 2 1/2. 3, 4 and 5hp model N and K engines. This is not magneto brand specific. Accurate. Elkhart, Sumter or Splitdorf they all used this same gear. This gear is in fair condition. The only reason I say this is because a few teeth have moderate pitting where they were meshed with the cam gear. Rest of the teeth are near new with hardly any wear. It's still solid and will work just fine.

Sumter 3-m#16 magneto. Pat date 1915 and the base is pot metal but not broken and the threads look good. It needs a good cleaning but when you spin it and hold the wire against the mag and pull it off it throws a hot spark. It has a 25 tooth gear in great shape.
