Old Galloway Hit Miss Gas Engine Friction Drive Magneto Dynamo Auto Sparker NICE
Here is a super original Galloway friction drive magneto/dynamo or auto sparker. It is in excellent original condition and has most of it's original paint and lettering on it. It turns nicely with excellent magnetic pull and has almost no wear in the bearings. The clutch on the friction wheels works as it should. This dynamo puts out excellent voltage and will run an engine with no problem. It has the auxiliary low tension coil built right into it under the magnets. This dynamo was built by the Henricks Novelty Company and has the original name tag on it. There is very little wear on the armature and it sits on a nice brass base. These friction dynamos are tough enough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and this one is as close to new as you could ever hope to find! It would look great on a nice original engine or it would even ... morelook nice on your display shelf! The pictures tell the story. I highly doubt there's a nicer original to be found. This listing is for a Fairbanks Morse magneto. it is VERY HOT. SHOTS FIRE LIKE CRAZY. It is 30 degrees and turns RH. it is a type J4B3 it will fit the Allis chalmers letter series tractors. B-WD. This magneto does have the hard to find kill switch on the backside. I believe these were used only on a few years on the model WC. it should work on other AC tractors. You may have to change the kill switch. I cleaned it removed the impulse and cleaned it as well. It has a newer style coil. The points look good. I replaced the inside distributor cap with a used cap. I do not see anything cracks in either cap. Anyone who has been around a Fairbanks magneto knows how easy it is to damage the inner cap. The gears look pretty good. They do show normal wear. Up for auction is a Fairbanks Morse J magneto that fits a 3hp ZC-52 3hp closed crank throttle governed engine. This mag has been rebuilt and is very nice and hot. Also looks almost like new. Installed $142 worth of parts. New cap. New points, New condenser, and New coil. The gear is about 2-3/4" diameter and has 25 teeth with one of them beveled for timing. Center of gear is about 1-3/8" from the flange that would mount against engine. It may fit other engines but im not sure. Thanks for looking!

American Bosch MJC6 Counterclockwise base mount 6 cylinder magneto rebuilt
here is a sharp looking American Bosch MJC6C-101 base mount 6 cylinder counterclockwise magneto. It has been completely disassembled. Washed, blasted, primed and painted with chassis paint. Bearings washed and repacked, has new condenser and gasket and recharged magnets. It has been professionally bench tested and is good and hot as it should be. The base mounting threads are great.Impulse disassembled, washed and relubed. It has a 35 degree lag and a handy window for easier timing to tractor. Any questions, please ask! This KW lighting magneto is in very nice condition for its age. It spins freely but you can feel the magnet's resistance. We were able to get a steady 1.4 volts AC when spinning its shaft with a cordless drill(moderate speed) There is a chip on its pulley's edge(see picture) The magneto's shaft and brass mounting bracket have no play or bearing wear. Caps are in good shape except a crack at the top corner screw hole of the large cap but does not affect the way it works and everything inside looks good.This is a 4 cylinder engine magneto, flange mount, turns clockwise and has 35 degree lag that fits a International Harvester engine.
