Old Original New Holland Hit Miss Gas Engine Sales Catalog Feed Mill Steam NICE!
This is a very nice original and rather scarce sales catalog for New Holland gasoline engines. Wood saws, feed mills, rock crushers and pulverizers, and pump jacks. It measures about 3 5/8 x 6 3/16 inches with 16 pages plus the covers. It in in good condition for it's age with some minor wear, creasing, and soiling. It has sections devoted to each of their products and gives information about all of them. It is heavily illustrated. It would be a great addition to your early agricultural advertising collection and it would look especially nice displayed with your New Holland engine at the shows! This is an extremely scarce. If not rare, original advertising celluloid pocket knife sharpener featuring the Waterloo Boy kerosene tractor and engines. It also advertises US huskers and silo fillers, Letz feed grinders, and Russell threshing machines. It is quite large and measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. It is from the Arbuckle Ryan Company in Toledo, Ohio. It is in great condition considering it's almost 100 years old with some minor staining and foxing around the edges. The stone on the back side is in near perfect condition. This would be a very nice addition to your early agricultural advertising collection especially if you like John Deere. Old Original John Lauson Hit Miss Gas Engine Ammeter Steam Tractor Magneto WOW
This is a very rare original John Lauson ammeter. It is from the same John Lauson Company in New Holstein. WI, that built the Frost King hit and miss gasoline engines. They were used to test the strength of the batteries that were being used to run the engines. It is in great condition considering it's over 100 years old and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. It has the original cloth covered wire on it which is a bit tattered but it will work the way it is. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and the only thing I see wrong with it is the glass is missing. I'm sure this would be available rather inexpensively at a local clock or watch repair shop. This would be a great addition to your early agricultural memorabilia collection or would really look nice displayed with your John Lauson engine at the shows! Old Brass Steam Engine Popcorn Wagon Whistle Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Oiler
This is a real nice original brass steam whistle. It measures about 1 5/16 inches in diameter and about 6 1/4 inches tall. It is in good condition for it's age with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind but does have some wear and dings from living in an old blacksmith shop for several decades. It has 1/4 inch pipe threads which are in great shape. It has a few very minor wrench marks on it but all in all it's pretty darn nice! It has a very unusual body that I can't say that I've seen before. These small whistles were commonly found on popcorn wagons and other small steam applications and are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is an extremely hard to find original Ensign carburetor for a Caterpillar tractor. It may have other applications. As well, but it came off of a Caterpillar. I believe it is for a Model 20 or 30 but please do your homework. It mounts to the manifold on 2 11/16 inch centers and has a 1 1/2 inch throat. The air intake is 1 7/8 inches in diameter and mounts with 4 holes on a 2 1/4 inch square bolt pattern. The body of this carburetor is bronze and the fuel chamber is diecast, I believe. Everything seems to move as it should on the carburetor. It is missing a few small pieces like the fuel height knob and the bolts that hold the chamber to the body but these should be findable parts. The drain on the bottom of the intake neck has been brazed a long time ago and could be dressed down a bit. Old IHC R Type M Mogul Hit Miss Gas Engine Rotary Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler
This is an original International Harvester Type R rotary magneto. It was standard equipment on the 6hp Type M engines as well as the 1. 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp Mogul engines. It was also an option on the vertical IHC Famous and Titan engines as well as the 2 1/2 and 4hp horizontal Famous engines. It could probably be made to work on other engines as well. It needs a bit of attention in the base as can be seen but this should be a fairly easy repair. I've seen lots of these milled out and an aluminum insert added inside the perimeter of the base and it is very hard to tell. It would also be a very solid repair. It has minimal wear in the bearings and turns over with decent magnetic pull. I'm sure with a disassembly and some light cleaning it would probably work just fine. The nice part is that all of the parts to rebuild it are available ... morerather inexpensively from several of the hobby magneto shops. Old 1 Inch Pickering Steam Tractor Engine Governor Hit Miss Magneto Oiler NICE!!
This is an extremely nice 1 inch Pickering governor for a steam engine or tractor. It was made by the Pickering Governor Company in Portland. Connecticut. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns nicely and has very little wear. The horizontal shaft has been bushed and it is nice and tight and ready for years of service! It has the original drive pulley on it and the gears have no noticeable wear on them. The 1 inch pipe threads are in great shape. Everything on this governor moves freely. I would say this governor is ready to be put to use! It measures about 19 inches tall overall. These governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for on here's your chance. This is a very hard to find original crankcase oil sight gauge for a Rumely Oil Pull tractor. It in in excellent condition and almost looks like it could be NOS. There are no wrench marks on it anywhere and the 1/8 inch pipe threads are in perfect condition. It has the original drain on it. As wall. It measures about 4 1/2 inches tall overall and appears to be ready to be used on a tractor. It could be used to measure the oil in any crankcase but was factory equipment on the Oil Pull tractors. This is an original cylinder oiler for an International Harvester Mogul or Type M gas engine. It's in excellent condition and only needs some minor cleaning. It has very little wear or wrench marks on the hex and everything seems to work as it should with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. Both glasses are good but it may need new gaskets which is the fun part! It has the original checkball in the base and the 3/8 inch NPT threads look great. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and about 5 3/4 inches tall and would look good on a 1, 1 3/4, or 2 1/2hp Mogul or a 1 1/2 or 3hp M engine. Old Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Gear Steam Tractor Ignitor
Here is a real nice original cast iron magneto gear for a Fairbanks Morse gas engine. It is part number ZB 142 and measures about 3 11/16 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/8 inch hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 35 teeth and they are in great shape. They have very little noticeable wear if any at all. I believe this gear is for the 3 and 6hp Z engines with a rotary magneto and ignitor ignition. This gear has no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to work on an engine. This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original fuel mixer for a Fuller and Johnson throttling governor kerosene engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The fuel needles are stuck but I'm sure they would move with a little heat. This mixer mounts to the engine with 2 bolts on 3 inch centers. It is for a 7hp engine but may fit other sizes as well. It could always be adapted to fit your engine as these mixers for engines of any size are almost impossible to find. With just a little elbow grease this will be a perfect mixer. Old Penberthy 1/2 inch Brass Steam Tractor Boiler Water Injector Hit Miss Engine
This is a very hard to find early style Penberthy water injector for a steam boiler. It is part number AA21 and is a 1/2 inch injector. It was patented on July 23. 1889. It is in great condition for its age with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some slight impact marks on it from its years of use but looks like it has a lot of life left in it. It is missing two of the tail nuts but I believe these are available from someone that reproduces them. These 1/2 inch injectors are very expensive new and they just don't look as good as the old ones so if you've been looking for one for a project or a restoration here's your chance. This is a very rare original pressure operated ignition switch for a Leader hit and miss gas engine powered air compressor or water pump. It is in exellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 4 1/4 inches wide at its widest and about 4 inches tall. It needs a new torsion spring on the needle but this should be pretty easy to make. It is made almost entirely of brass and has the original name tag on it. It has 1/4 inch female pipe threads and they are in great shape. These ignition cutout switches are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration here's your chance. ANTIQUE 1936 MAYTAG RESTORED 92 GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 687190 stamped on it which was in production in January. 1936. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. The flywheel has very little pitting as you can see in the picture but will not affect the performance of the engine. Lots of people like to take the same pictures as I do and try to ... moreconfuse the buyer. I don't like the way they do things but I have no control of that. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. You can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. This is a real nice and early Century"Invincible" open frame electric motor. According to the fancy brass serial tag it is 1/4 horsepower. 104 volts, and 1750 rpm. The last patent date is 1900 so it's pretty early. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has an original type cloth cord on it. It has an excellent amount of original paint on it. I've tested it and it starts up and runs very nicely. It is quiet and very smooth. It has a cast iron mounting platform. The motor is about 7 inches in diameter and about 9 inches long overall. Im selling for a friend a AERMOTOR 8 CYCLE model Hit Miss Engine needs to be finished my buddy lost interest in it. And I have no time to do it. the machining not to bad the only things I did to the engine is he needed me to seat the valves so I know they do not leak, and I made rings and the engine has compression when I block off the holes in block. the crank shaft runs true the flywheel has no run out. the ignitor not finished, I think it wouldn't take much to get running. looks like it needs a set screw for the cam. A very nice block with good used tight bearings! Minimal wear to the bearings. Checked out! If you have an engine with worn bearings then here is your easy fix. Its been totally cleaned up and inspected. No flaws I can find. The price we are asking is about what you might expect to pay for just new bearings. Not counting cost to get fit at a machine shop. This is a Small#2 Feed/ Corn/ Coffee/ Grain Grinder.That can be used& adapted to a number of different purpose's. A lot of folks take the Crank off& install a pulley& run it off a Hit n Miss type engine to grind corn or? at the engine shows or threshing bee's etc. It is in Very Good Used condition with only a small piece of one corner of the base damaged& no welds. It will also need new wood on the crank handle. If planning to use it with the crank. As can be seen in the 1st& last pic.it is not something that would effect it's use in any way. This is a VERY rare original Massey Harris Tractors watch fob. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has very little pocket wear. It measures about 1 9/16 inches wide and about 1 1/2 inches tall. It says"From Your Massey Harris Dealer" on the back. It was made by the Metal Arts Company in Rochester, New York. It has a Massey Harris Challenger tractor on the front and is on the original leather strap. These original fobs rarely turn up in the wild so if you've been looking for one don't miss it. Vintage BRIGGS& STRATTON? Hit& Miss Gas engine motor with Delorto Carb breather cap filter. Motor looks complete. Motor spins freely, don't feel like there's much compression on this motor. I believe this is a 1 HP or 1 1/2 HP motor. No marking found. Motor has rust, muffler is rusted and bent, inner gas tank has rust but appears solid. Features a neat plastic Dellorto breather assembly that mounts to carb. I believe there is spark, had my hand hand on wire and got slight shock while pulling with a old rope. This motor being Sold as Non running motor for parts or repair. Sold as is as Found. What you see is what you will get. Measures approx. 11 3/4" Tall x 14" long x 10 1/2" deep. Filter and sparkplug will be removed for shipping.

Old Fairbanks Morse 3hp Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Exhaust Rocker Arm Steam Tractor
This is an original exhaust rocker arm and stand for a Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the small oil cup on the socket end which would be and easy replacement. It mounts with a 5/8 inch hole and the rocker arm measures about 5 1/2 inches from the center of the valve tab to the center of the push rod socket. The stand has a part number of ZCD41A3 and the rocker arm is ZCA38A. I believe it is for a 3hp Z but measure your engine to be sure. These are often broken or repaired on engines so if you need one for any reason here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

This offering is for one nice little but big priming cup for some old one lunger or maybe a car. 1/4" threads and it stands over 2.5" tall plus the handle. This was in a larger engine of some type. Its a nice primer to look at. Its not worn out. Slight rounding to some of the hex edges but not horrible. It will polish up if you want but I left the patina in case someone wants it all natural.
