Old IHC 1hp Mogul M Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Cylinder Oiler Steam Magneto
This is an original cylinder oiler for an International Harvester Mogul or Type M gas engine. It's in excellent condition and only needs some minor cleaning. It has very little wear or wrench marks on the hex and everything seems to work as it should with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. It needs a new top glass which is available quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. It has the original checkball in the base and the 3/8 inch NPT threads look great. It measures about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 5 1/8 inches tall and would work on a 1, 1 3/4, or 2 1/2hp Mogul or a 1 1/2 or 3hp M engine. It would look the best on a 1hp Mogul or a Mogul Jr as this is the smallest oiler made in this style. These oilers are getting harder to find every day! The pictures tell the story. This is an original rotary magneto dust shield for a 3hp International Harvester Type M engine with ignitor ignition. It measures about 3 7/8 inches in diameter and is in excellent ready to use condition with some slight pitting on one side. This can be put to the inside of the engine and never seen. This is a nice original 3/8 inch pipe steam siphon. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. I have three of these and two of them measure 5 1/2 inches and one is 4 1/2 inches. These originals are tough to find in the wild and look nice when they are displayed with a steam gauge. Old Fairbanks Morse J ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Gear Rebuilt Hot NICE
This is a real nicely refurbished Fairbanks Morse Model J1A2 magneto for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It may have other applications but it has a ZD gear on it. It has been completely gone through and rebuilt. If it needed something it got it. It turns over nicely with excellent bearings and puts out a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine. It has been painted and made to look like a new magneto so it would look great on a restored engine. It mounts with two holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. The only blemish it has is a small"dent" on the base as I've noted in the pictures. This doesn't affect it's performance and will not be seen when it is mounted on the engine. These magnetos are rather tough to find and often require several hundred dollars to rebuild. The work on this one is done and it's ready ... morefor use. Old Galloway Hit Miss Gas Engine Friction Drive Magneto Dynamo Auto Sparker NICE
Here is a super original Galloway friction drive magneto/dynamo or auto sparker. It is in excellent original condition and has most of it's original paint and lettering on it. It turns nicely with excellent magnetic pull and has almost no wear in the bearings. The clutch on the friction wheels works as it should. This dynamo puts out excellent voltage and will run an engine with no problem. It has the auxiliary low tension coil built right into it under the magnets. This dynamo was built by the Henricks Novelty Company and has the original name tag on it. There is very little wear on the armature and it sits on a nice brass base. These friction dynamos are tough enough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and this one is as close to new as you could ever hope to find! It would look great on a nice original engine or it would even ... morelook nice on your display shelf! The pictures tell the story. I highly doubt there's a nicer original to be found. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs, and it measures approx. 13" tall, 13" long, and 8" wide. Old Original Ford Holley G Brass Model T Car Truck Carburetor Hit Miss Engine
This is a real nice original Holley G all brass carburetor for an early Ford Model T car or truck. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts to the manifold with two holes 2 1/8 inches apart on center. It has a 1 1/8 inch throat and a 1 5/16 inch intake. Everything moves as it should and neither of the shafts have much noticeable wear at all! This carburetor would look great all polished up or leave it as is for a survivor T! These carbs are getting tougher to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need it for a correct restoration here's your chance. It would even make a great spare on the shelf! Original Early Ford Model T Car Truck Coil Box Ignition Switch Hit Miss Engine
This is a pretty nice original Ford Model T ignition coil box. This is the earlier style with the key switch on it. It is in good condition for being about 100 years old. It is missing the cover and one porcelain insulator which are available from the hobby suppliers. The wood back has separated a bit but is still very usable. All of the coil contacts are present inside the box. The switch housing is in remarkable condition with only two slight cracks in the bottom of it. I believe it would work fine just the way it is. The box retains most of it's original paint and would look great on a survivor car! These original coil boxes are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. ACCURATE "R" Magneto Mag Antique Hit Miss Stationary Gas Engine, IHC Mogul
Here's one of the most coveted magnetos within the gas engine hobby: a brass Accurate"R" mag. As mostly seen on the early small Moguls. I have seen it on special brackets on a small Famous and also was available on some early Fuller& Johnson models. You could even use it on a 6 hp IHC"M" engine if desired. It's in great shape. I spun it on the wire wheel and it threw a consistent spark. I can't guarantee that it will run your engine, so selling as is, where is to avoid disputes BUT I think you'll be happy with it. Here is the left flywheel from a 1914 engine. This is the one that holds the governor weights. I have the other flywheel as well. Let me know if you might need it instead. It(they) has not been cracked or welded anywhere. The last picture was the entire engine. This auction is for just the flywheel(governor side) Due to health issues, the engine is being parted out. Up for bid is this antique but unique brass priming oil or gas cup or fuel shut off valve. This cup can be used for a variety of gas engine equipment from hit n miss to steam engines model T/A cars. This is a shut off valve valve with beautiful embossed markings. I have no idea what this could be used for. If you know educate me. The Dim. are as follows. On the top is an old spark plug that has: Cross Country on it as seen. The display board measures: 16 3/4 inches tall. 9 3/4 inches wide. I haven't tested this old antique Maytag hit miss engine with fuel. I removed each spark plug indidvidually and when I push the crank and put my finger over each spark plug hole there was compression in each cylinder. I did not check to see there was a spark. WWII RARE KICK START BRIGGS & STRATTON MODEL N MOTOR GAS HIT MISS ENGINE BRASS
Up for bid is an old running briggs and stratton model n with the rare kick start& rope backup pulley. Don't know much about these but I was able to look up it's serial number of 80850 to find that it was manufactured between S eptember and October of 1942. This is also supposedly a WWII military era/issued because of several things including.kick start option. Brass id tag with screws not rivets and the od green paint. I was able to put gas in it and she fired right up.idle was adjusted lower after this video as well. Please see video of engine running below. Motor does have dents, scratches, grease, rust, issues, etc. and is not perfect. Would make a good restoration project for someone or enjoy as is. Would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Fairbanks Morse 3 HP ZC-52 Antique Hit and Miss Steam Engine
Up for auction is a Fairbanks Morse 3 hp ZC-52 Throttle governed engine. This engine is complete and in great shape. It also runs very well. To restore it. It would need very little if anything. Maybe only cleaning and painting. It is mounted to the trailer which is also included in the auction. The trailer comes with a spare tire and has a nice custom stained box mounted on the trailer that says"Darn Tootn" The magneto is hot. It includes the crank handle. The only thing that i am not sure about is the condition of the gas tank. I have just been running if from the cup on the carb. I have no reason to believe that there is anything wrong with the tank but i am not going to say without knowing for sure. I really just believe it would need cleaning.
