1/3 scale water Cooled ALLMAN hit & miss gasoline engine
Allmen built by debolt machine 1989 1991 production. The Allman inverted engine was designed in the 1890's. Our engine is a 1/3 scale copy of the 1 H.P. It has a 9" flywheel 1 1/4" bore. With a eccentric type Cam system. It utilizes the cast iron radiator for cooling and has high tension(Spark plug) ignition system with a unique spark saver. The governor is hit and miss type which allows the engine runs with smooth and effortless movement. This is engine runs very good. Its been sitting in my model engine display case for 3 years. Everything seems to move smoothly. As you rotate one sprocket the other moves at about a 6 to 1 ratio. I have included the two belts in the last photo because they came with the power drive. The fourth photo shows a break in the metal. I know nothing about this part so I can't say what may be missing.

You are bidding a Antique Briggs& Stratton Engine Model Y. The Brass tag has the information on it. The Man who restored this engine had a passion for restoring Oliver Tractors. It came out of his Oliver Collection. This engine was restored 12 years ago and went to several tractor hit& miss shows and has been stored in a controlled environment. I put fuel in it and it fired the first kick and started and ran perfect the second kick. Then started first kick every time after. The engine has less than 10 hours run time since it was restored. The motor has some scratches from being transported to and from tractor shows. Has its fuel tank. This motor and crate weighs 70 pounds. The crate I have built to ship it in measures 21" X 17" X 12 1/2" You can use these measurements and weight to calculate shipping from zip code 64855 ... moreto yours. The engine will be bolted to bottom of crate. Engine will also be wrapped in bubble wrap. I removed the kick start for shipping. Probably needs to go UPS. Bowl diameter is 1-3/4 inches at the top. Condition is as found. I have not disassembled or cleaned this oiler in any way. The flip lever has proper snap and this oiler seems ready for service. Vintage Coil Box for Antique Hit Miss or Marine Engine, Spark Plug Ignition
New York Coil Company Model 60 high tension ignition coil in wood case. This coil is listed as used. Although the points and assembly screws show no apparent use. The phenolic screw-off insulator is undamaged and the wire terminals look to be untouched. There are no plier marks on the terminal nuts. The varnish is excellent, there are no cracks and no delamination of finger joints. The removeable top fits snugly and is held by the retaining hooks. There are minimal surface nicks, but no evidence of poor storage or rough handling. It is possible that it has been refinished, but if so, it sure was a good job. There are no holes to suggest that the coil was mounted. But the smooth mounting slides were popular for marine use. Certainly this coil would be a good choice for any early, high quality gas engine. Dimensions are 8-1/2 inches long(including ... morethe screw-off insulator) and the slide is 4-3/8 inches wide. This coil has not been tested. But I suspect that it is fully functional. The main glass is in good condition and measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" The bottom glass does have a chip out of it at the top, but it is still intact and could be easily replaced if you wanted to. Original FULLER JOHNSON Hit Miss Gas Engine Cart Truck Steam Tractor Magneto WOW
This is an extremely hard to find original cart for a small Fuller and Johnson hit and miss gas engine. It has the original handle on the front axle. I'm pretty sure it has the original wood board on it but may have a few extra holes in it. The wheels measure 8 inches in diameter with a 2 inch face and all have the J482 part number on them. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to use under an engine. This cart was used under the 1 1/2 and 2hp Model N engines from the factory and probably the Multi Motor and will work for any engine of the 1-2 1/2 hp size. Factory carts like these are pretty hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on it. It would certainly make moving your engine around easier! A previous owner started to paint this engine so the upper part of the hopper is newer green paint. This would make an easy restoration project for someone. antique one lunger engine, Stover 6hp, throttle governed not hit and miss
This is a large very heavy engine. It is a Stover 6hp kerosene engine it starts on gas then can be switched over to kerosene. The engine runs but the kerosene tank has not been hooked up. It will run for about 10 minutes on the gas reservoir located on the head. I broke a bolt that holds the carb on, it is about 5/16"x 6" threaded on both ends easy to fix i just don't have time right now. It has another tag on it that says that it was sold in St. Johnsbury, VT. I don't know about shipping such a heavy item but if it is prearranged i could help load it on a truck or trailer.

Old FAIRBANKS MORSE Z Headless Hit Miss Gas Engine Cart Steam Tractor Ignitor
This is a nice old 1 1/2 horsepower Fairbanks Morse headless Z gas engine. It is a true hit and miss gas engine. It turns over nicely and has great compression even though it hasn't run for a few years. It has the original crank guard which is almost always missing. Each of the mounting ears on the crank guard has a very well done old repair on them and they work the way they should. It has an authentic reproduction gas tank and muffler on it. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is missing the fuel line which would be pretty easy to make or can be obtained from several of the hobby suppliers. It is ignitor fired and can be run with a battery and low tension coil. It shouldn't take much work at all to make noise with it! It is on the original cart that it left the factory on and the cart is in excellent ... morecondition as well. All in all this is a pretty nice package with a true hit and miss engine with an open crankcase and on the original cart. Michigan Lubricator Hit and Miss Gas Engine Oiler with Elbow and Screw Feed !!
Unusually shaped Michigan Lubricator. Patented June 19- 88 with screw type adjustment on the feed mechanism. As you can see in the photos this oiler has an elbow built into it. It appears to be in good working condition. The only other mark I can find on the oiler is the number 402 near the threads on the end of the elbow. Large Essex Brass Corp. Detroit, Michigan, oiler for hit and miss stationary engines. The oiler is marked ESSEX BRASS CORP. DETROIT, MICH. U.S.A. on the top cap. It measures approx 5" in overall height and approx 3 1/8" in diameter so I would say it's a No. 3 size oiler. It's in good shape with the exception of the bottom glass tube which is missing.
