Original Simms SU2A Motorcycle Car Truck Tractor Magneto Hit Miss Engine HOT!
This is an original Simms SU2A two cylinder magneto for an early car. Truck, tractor, or motorcycle. It is fresh from an early collector's estate where it lived on a shelf for many years. It has some age fatigue in the pot metal base but would still work the way it is. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the threads in the brass inserts are perfect. Both original leadout towers are present. It is a rather unusual magneto and is counter-clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with excellent magnetic pull. It has very minor wear in the bearings. The 16 tooth drive gear is loose on the armature shaft and could be tightened or replaced with the gear needed for your application. This magneto puts out a nice, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your tractor if it is set up properly. It could used a little fine cleaning as it has ... moresome black paint on it but that's the fun part. These original SIMMS magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work. This one isn't perfect but it cold be with some elbow grease. It's ready to go to work on a tractor or on the shelf for a spare. If you've been looking for one don't miss it. Old Webster AMM Magneto Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Steam Tractor Oiler NICE HOT!!
This is a real nice original Webster AMM oscillating magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It has several applications in the gas engine world and is in good used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs except that on of the mounting holes has a crack in it. It still holes the stud just fine and could easily be remedied with some space age adhesive. It has very little wear in the bearings. The original brass name band is on it and very nice. It has the original leadout cover on it. It mounts to the ignitor bracket on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch bolt pattern. The body is in excellent condition unlike some of them that you see. The magnets have just been recharged. Even with the frayed leadout wire it puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. This wire along with one of the oil cups should be replaced ... morebut that's pretty easy. It also has some red paint overspray on it that should be removed. The trip finger is in excellent condition with VERY little wear. These Webster AMM magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on this one. Kingery Stationary Steam Engine "Rare" Not hit and miss engine
This is an exteremly rare early production Kingery steam engine. This is the sedom scene model with the fat flywheel. It is on its original cast iron base with the original nickle plated name tag. The engine is serial number 307. It measures 20" in length and 6 1/2" wide. The flywheel measures 8" in diameter and 1 1/2" wide. These engines were used on turn of the century street corner vendor pop corn poppers and peanut roasters. The only flaw with the engine is a cracked main bearing cap, which would be a very easy fix. WICO EK MAGNETO Gas Stationary Engine Cushman Hit & Miss Steam Tractor GOOD!!!
Here I have a nice vintage WICO EK MAGNETO complete with the speed control/timing(armature) attachment. This jewel has excellent blue spark when the armature is snapped see pic 8& 9. The case is brass altho is painted flat black. Lead tower looks good see pic 10(one small ding) and the stop button with good spring resistance. It has the original Wico name plate with no. 501956 and lots of patent dates. These magnetos were used on many different types of engines. This particular one came off a 4hp C8 Cushman Binder Engine. Original International Harvester Steel Pony Corn Sheller Nubber Hit Miss Engine
This is a very hard to find ear"nubber" for an International Harvester steel Pony corn sheller. These were used to clean the ends of the ears or cobs when the sheller didn't get those kernels. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. These were options on these shellers and you hardly ever find one with one on it. It fits on a 15/16 inch shaft and has a part number of 2285A. The slotted set screw is loose and this nubber is ready to be used on a sheller. It is in good condition for being over 100 years old! It measures about 5 3/4 x 7 3/8 inches with 328 pages. It is heavily illustrated with all of the products they offered for this particular part of the market from lineshaft equipment, belting, canvas, gears, cast iron and other pulleys up to 120 inches in diameter! elevators, conveyors, scales, clutches and much more! They even offered the rare"Almond" right angle lineshaft coupling. There is a page with their engine offerings on it. This is an extremely hard to find original advertising sales poster for the International Harvester Type M engines. Unfolded it measures about 18 x 24 inches. It is in excellent original condition with no tears and only very minor wear. It shows the various features of the engines along with a few working photos of them. It covers all sizes. The 1 1/2, 3, 6, and 10hp's. It is very bright on the front side and would look great framed and displayed with your engines in your building or at the shows. Waukesha Variable Compression Engine One Cylinder Vertical Octane Tester Model# COT-MIL Year of Manufacture 1962 This unit came from a local Engineering Lab. It has been in a dry heated environment until last month. It is now dry. There does not appear to be any major repairs needed. I have NOT tried to start the engine. It Does turn over and seems ok. It was used to test fuel Octane levels. There is a hand crank on the side of engine to raise and lower the cylinder to change the compression ratio. There are 2 screens with lids missing from the fuel viles. This Unit has a Continental 220 Volt. 3 Phase Starter/Generator, this is used to put a load on the engine for fuel testing. Comes with all seen on unit except for chain and strap. Has Detonation Meter and Knock Meter. Has a Young Radiator with cooling Fan. Old Bosch BA1 Harley Indian Pope Thor Henderson Hit Miss Engine Magneto HOT!!
This is an original Bosch BA1 high tension magneto for an early hit and miss or motorcycle engine. It was used several hit and miss engines and probably several motorcycles as well. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind other than the advance/retard lever on the points housing. This could easily be undone or dressed down a bit but works just fine the way it is. The magneto has a nickel plated brass base that is in excellent condition. It mounts with four holes on a 1 5/8 x 2 3/16 inch bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. Everything moves very nicely with almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. The original leadout is in great shape. It has very strong magnetic pull and this magneto puts out a HOT, fat, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. It is ... moreclockwise rotation. If you've been looking for one here's your chance. It is ready to go to work on an engine or would also be a good spare on the shelf. Beautiful original Nathan Mfg. engine cylinder drip oiler in very good condition. A very ornate oiler that would look great on a steam engine. Antique motorcycle or old hit& miss engine. The oiler is chrome or nickel plated and has some wear and scratches. The oiler is about 4 1/2 inches tall. The top rotates exposing two slots for the oil to go in. Then you turn the top and it closes again. I've never seen an oiler like this. I'm not sure what it originally came on. The glass is nice with no chips or cracks and is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The bottom glass is also there and is not cracked. A very nice oiler for that fancy little engine on your shelf. The head has the original paint and comes with the original carburetor. The carburetor has some erosion and slight deterioration of the pot metal. It still looks like it would be a good usable carb. The choke plate is rusty, but still works. The head has the original valves and springs. The valves are nice and have almost no play in the guides. This is a very scarce original lattice base Buckeye Force Pump made by Mast. Foos, and Co. in Springfield, Ohio. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has the rarely seen pump rod lock cam on the back side. The handle moves as it should. This pump would make a nice display piece for your pumpjack setup at the engine shows and it would also be a fine addition to any early pump collection. These lattice base pumps are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets, especially in undamaged condition, and they are certainly eye catchers! Old Splitdorf F1 Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Fuller Johnson Lauson Steam Tractor
This is a very hard to find original Splitdorf F1 rotary magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It was used on Fuller and Johnson and John Lauson/Alpha DeLaval engines and probably others. It needs some attention as most of these magnetos do but. Again, they are very hard to find in any condition. The armature turns over but has some drag. I'm sure the pot metal body is slightly warped and needs to be fitted. The body has some age fatigue but not nearly as bad as most of them that turn up. It is also missing the two plugs in the top of the body under the magnet. The mounting threads are in good condition but one of them has a piece chipped away from it. This will still work the way it is as the hole is much deeper. Now for the good parts.the magneto is complete. It has the original leadout cover on it as well as the name band which no ... moreone is reproducing. With a little time and talent this could be a very nice magneto.
