FUEL FILLER for 1-1/2hp to 2hp HERCULES ECONOMY JEAGER ARCO Hit& Miss Gas Engine
Up for sale is a hard to find Fuel Filler for a 1 1/2-2 HP Hercules. Economy, Yaeger or Arco Hit&Miss Engine, Please read discription and Look at all Pictures as they are a part of the discription. I found this part in the water hopper of an engine I purchased, I have since found an original tank and filler for that engine, so I dont need this one. I lightly glass beadblasted, not sand blasted it to remove light rust, dirt and what little remaining paint was left, as seen in the last three pics. I went a step further and gave it three coats of gray primer, its basically ready to paint and put to work on Your Tank/Engine. It is in great condition, however inside the threaded hole, someone had built up three evenly spaced beads of weld which covered 2-3 threads, I dont know why? I carefully ground out the welds with a Dremel Tool and ran ... morea 5/8-11 tap into it to clean up the threads, it was a short tapered tap, I think if a straight bottoming tap were used it would clean them even better, it should work fine, it could be sleeved and retapped, bored and tapped to a larger size, or even weld, braze or solder a pipe into it, it is still a good usuable, hard to find part, being sold as is, any questions, please ask! You are bidding on a very rare head. And original carburetor with choke, for a 1 1/2hp Keller hit& miss engine, made in Eau Claire, WI. It will need a valve job, and new valves. They are stuck. Other than that, it is in good shape with no issues. Carburetor looks really nice, and has the hard to find, original choke on it, as well as part of the original fuel line. Please see pictures. Circa 1900 Antique Steam Engine Toy Hit Miss J.C. Made in France
An Antique Steam Engine Toy in"as found" condition. Recently acquired from a nice clean old estate. This Circa 1900 piece has not been tested. It is marked"J.C. France" It rests on a large tin base with old green. Red and yellow pinstripe on it. Some wear showing and discoloration from age. The insignia is in the corner, see photos. Burner is inside the boiler and has the smokestack and little blowoff handle which moves. The engine turns free and has a unique two piston arrangement. The base measures 10 1/2" in length by 10 1/2" deep by 10 3/4" high to the top of the stack. Check out the photos.

An Antique Toy Steam Engine in"as found" condition. Recently acquired from a nice clean old estate. This Circa 1900 piece has not been tested. It is marked"SIGNALLING EQUIPMENT LTD" Model"MINOR DRG. NO. 1520" Made in England. This is a very tiny engine with most of the green paint on the base with only slight loss. The middle section is painted wrinkle finish black. The boiler and the piston mechanism and the fount were painted gold. Flywheel turns freely. A delightful little engine! It measures 3 1/2" in length by 3 1/4" deep by 4 3/4" high. Nice Original HANCOCK INSPIRATOR Steam Injector Traction Engine Hit Miss WOW!
This is a pretty nice original and VERY had to find Hancock Inspirator or steam injector. It is in excellent condition for its age with general overall wear and markings from its working days. It's not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 1 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 1 inch. The body measures about 6 x 9 1/2 inches plus the plumbing on the bottom. It is marked with the makers name on a boss on the bridge. The original wooden handle is cracked but someone tried to save it with a piece of string back in the day. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original Hancock Inspirators are almost impossible to find in ... morethe wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance one this one. I have for auction this fuel pump for a stationary hit miss gas engine. I am not sure if it will fit a Stover or IHC mogul or famous or not. If anyone recognizes what it will fit let me know. The mounting holes are 3 1/4" on center and are straight across from each other. The overall height is 7 inches. It also has a spring on the side to keep down pressure on the plunger. The packing nut is made out of brass. It is in good condition no visible cracks or welds. The bottom plug is missing and the plunger is free to move up or down. Mounted on a piece of wood with a heavy medal base with a dark finish. All of the other parts are either brass or nickel plated. The mechanism works freely. There is a funnel and a burner fount. This manifold is approx. 3 3/4" long with an 11/16" nut mounting hole, the exhaust nozzle is 1 15/16" long and approx. 11/16" dia. the body is 5/8" thick and 11/16" thick at the mounting hole. It has the Part# 61755 cast into the side, and has a raised cast diaginal line cast into the exhaust nozzle, for the flex hose to screw onto. I lightly glass beadblasted, not sandblasted it to remove rust and dirt, then did more of the hard work and gave it a few coats of quality black 1200 degree high temp paint,its ready to mount to Your engine and put to work for show season! Frick steam engine mount for Pickering governor - key words hit miss
This original casting is from an 8& 1/2 by 10 Frick steam engine- either portable or traction engine. It is to mount the Pickering governor to the valve chest. So as to raise it and align it with the steam pipe coming off the steam dome. It should fit any Frick engine requiring a 2 inch governor, and so would work on a few other size engines, as well. The four base mounting holes are about 3& 1/2 inches on center. The two bolts are the original bolts for attaching the governor on top. The Pickering governor for a Frick engine came with a valve body that bolted to this top flange and didn't use pipe threads. It is in very good condition, no CBW's. It is dirty, but only lightly rusted, there is no rust pitting.

Original IHC Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Sales Catalog Magneto Tractor WOW!
This is a very hard to find original sales catalog for the International Harvester Famous engines. It is likely from before 1910 and measures about 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches and has 48 pages. It shows all of the engines and different configurations and features. It also shows the different options and attachments in great detail. It is heavily illustrated and also shows the early tractor that IHC built. It is a very classy catalog and has very fancy covers both front and back. It is a great reference book and would be a fine addition to your early engine or agricultural advertising library especially if you like the early IHC engines. It would also look great displayed with your engine or equipment at the shows. It is in quite worn condition for it's age and is missing page 21/22. It is also missing a small section of another and the bottom ... moreof another page as can be seen in the photos. It has heavy wear as can be seen and some of the pages and both covers are loose. It has some neat factory and warehouse photos and is one of the hardest to find IHC engine catalogs. I can't imagine that many of these survived the wrath of the wood stove back in the day so don't miss your chance on it. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.

Model steam gas hit miss engine induction coil for trip igniter ignition
This a coil used for igniter type model gas engines sometimes referred to as hit-miss engines using igniters not spark plugs. This is a used coil we used in the machine shop to run engines that we have finished and needed to test run before we sell them. Not a lot to describe size is in picture. I did check it for continuity just now and it's good. I do not remember the company name we purchased it from nor do I remember when but it was a few years ago. Stover Model K Stationary hit miss gas engine fuel mixer carb 1.5 hp
I have for auction this carburetor fuel mixer for a Stover Model K stationary hit miss gas engine. I think this was a 1.5hp. It is in good condition no visible cracks or welds. It also includes the choke plate. The elbow has a K 190 part number. The kneedle valve is also there and in good shape. It is little rusty but just needs a cleaning and some paint and your engine. I will be selling the cylinder head in another auction. Buyer pays shipping and I will calculate shipping after the auction.

I have for auction this cylinder head and rocker arm for a Stover Model K stationary hit miss gas engine. I think this was a 1.5hp. It is in good condition no visible cracks or welds. It also includes the rocker arm that is nice with no cracks or welds. The head has a K 50 part number. It also has the exhaust valve with it and it moves in and out good. It is rusty but just needs a cleaning and some paint and your engine. I will be selling the fuel mixer for this head in another auction. Vintage 4 3/4" FLAT BELT PULLEY 1-1/8" Screw Set Shaft Old Engine Hit and Miss
14 years ago. My mother-in-law came to live with us. Recently widowed, she left her house as it was, came to Oregon and said she was never going back home. We told her we would pack her house up, pack EVERYTHING, and bring here for her to sort through at her pleasure. Her house was much like a museum. She was an avid and well known antique dealer and collector in Los Angeles in the mid to later 1900's. We moved over 700 boxes of items from her house. Along with many pieces of furniture. 1 of her pieces has been on the Antique Road Show. I built a 7000 sq. foot building to accommodate all her collections. She never opened a box. She died about 7 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. Some are given away, some things donated, ... moresome are kept and some things are offered here. I used to write a bit of the history at the beginning of each ad. I have decided to write this, and when a bit of provenance fits, I will include this introduction. These items were collected many years ago by a very sweet and knowledgeable lady. Wish she was here to tell me about each item we offer, but, I am on my own, and will do my best to describe. This is an old flat belt pulley I have had for awhile. It is amongst my clutter in the office. I am moving to Alaska soon. So cleaning house. This pully has the screw set for tightening on a 1 1/8th shaft. There is an access hole on the pulley. As well as another hole next to it. i am thinking it is for lubrication purposes? Please refer to the pictures. The pulley is 7 3/4 inches across rim to rim. It can accept a belt up to 4 3/4 inches wide. This is a beast. It weighs in at about 9 1/2 pounds. Please refer to the pictures and ask any questions you may have. This is an original Catalogue"L" from the Skinner Engine Company of Erie. Pennsylvania. It roughly measures 10.25" x 7.5" and has 72 pages plus an inner cover and outer cover. The catalog covers Skinner automatic lubrication center and side crank engines. The catalog was part of a library collection with marker writing on the cover. The binding is stapled and also tied. The cover has a tear near the spine that measures about 4" long, it also has some chipping and cracking. The catalog is complete. The inside pages are clean and images are nice. this was one of many models that my dad built I remember seeing this run quite some time ago it has good compression.he bolted it to a kids toy truck.Which was a mistake,everytime it fired,it jumped all over.at a show we staked it to the ground with tent stakes it was better I don't see any igniter parts on it now but he was always swapping parts.I have sold these on e-bay in the past and know what they are worth in machining alone. they are fun to play with.

There are 6 of these small oilers. Three of the oilers have small cracks in the plastic reservoirs(Pic. 8.9,10) Do not know how deep they penetrate. One of the plastic view glasses has a small nick along its rim. The spring controlled off-on switch are all good. The springs on the oil cap are all good. There is an extra off-on switch mechanism. CA. 1912 Antique Steam Engine Hit Miss Kingery/Cretors Popcorn Cincinnati, Ohio
Circa 1890 Antique Kingery Mfg. Co Steam Engine in good working condition. This early one has been repainted and a few modern machine screws have been added. The piston and valve assembly are cast brass with what appears to be nice nickle plating end caps. The number 254 is hand stamped on the back which may have been a shop inventory number or serial number. It is larger than a toy size measuring 20 1/8' by 6 1/2" by 8" high. The flywheel is 8" in diameter and has a number 136 cast in it. It is fairly heavy which helps it run smooth. Watch the video! Do not know what it came off of but it would be great to display on the steam table at the hit and miss gas engine show.

UNKNOWN WATER PUMP for SIDE SHAFT ENGINE Hit and Miss Old Gas Engine
Here is a good looking old water pump and eccentric. I believe this is probably originally off of an old side shaft gas engine but I do not know what kind. I am sure it could be put on and would look good on may different old engines. There are NO cracks. Breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. The piston is 1-1/2" It mounts with 2 holes 2-1/2" apart on center The hole in eccentric is 1-1/2" not counting the bushing that is in it) The pump is not stuck. I haven't had the eccentric turning but I am sure it would loosed up without a problem. The open water hole is 1/2" threaded pipe. The lubrication hole for the eccentric is threaded and probably had a grease cup. Original NO Cracks. Breaks, or Welds! Original 1901 UNION Steam Pump Catalog Compressor Hit Miss Engine Well NICE!!
This is a VERY hard to find original full line sales catalog from the Union Steam Pump Company in Battle Creek. Michigan. It is from 1901 and is in excellent condition for it's age with almost no wear or soiling and even has the original mailing envelope with it. It measures about 6 7/8 x 7 3/8 inches and has 88 pages. It shows all of the steam pumps, well pumps, vacuum pumps, milk pumps, and air compressors that Union built at the time. It also shows boilers, fire pumps, and several combinations of these units. It is HEAVILY illustrated with great detailed photos and would be a great reference piece for the Union steam pump or early machinery collector. It is a wealth of information and it would be a fine addition to your reference library. The pictures tell the story. OTTAWA 21/2 hp Hit and Miss engine serial C16207
Early Ottawa 2 1/2 hp hit and miss engine. It turns over fine but is missing the gas tank and ignition coil. Originally this must have been an ignitor engine but has been converted. It has a what i think is a vaporizer carb( which has pipe work and other parts missing maybe it is designed to run on gas then switch to kerosene. I have never seen this type before. It has very little compression but the piston and bore seem OK, could be just the valves need re-seating.The small end that wraps round the gudgeon pin has a bolt missing. No cracks in the casting that i can see. The rocker arm has a very old repair. Return spring missing on the ignition trip arm. It has a Lunkenheimer oiler and greaser that both look correct for the engine. The governor assembly looks complete as does the trip mechanism. Heck of a muffler on it! I would like to keep ... moreit but it needs more time than i have available to get it fixed up. From searching the web. I think this engine was made around 1916/17. I am not including the skid. Its just the Ottawa engine that's for sale I prefer pick up. But will crate and take to Gilroy FASTENAL, for no charge. The buyer must arrange and pay for this service through the FASTENAL website, apparently its very easy to do and works well. I will be attending the Tulare Antique tractor show on the Friday 17th April so this could be a drop off point but i would want to be paid within 3 days of the auction ending.
