Up for bid is a 1” Lunkenheimer carb. Left hand type, for a hit and miss type engine. It was working very well when I took it off the engine I got it with. Which I replaced with a more correct one. Nickel plated brass Grease Cup, Hit & Miss Engine, Steam Engine, Lathe, Mill etc
Vintage grease cup for Hit& Miss engines. Steam engines, lathes, milling machines, shingle mill, industrial machinery, woodworking machinery, etc. No brand name on it, but nice solid brass grease cup with nickel plating. Slight ding on the leading thread may need to be touched up with a file before installing. I couldn't get a picture of the ding, thats how small it is. 7/8" diameter body, 2-1/8" long overall, 1/8" NPT male thread. The new import steel versions are about $ 20. Shipping Note: I work swing shifts and odd hours. Sometimes I do not have any time during business hours off for 3 days straight as I work 3 doubles- hence the 3 day handling time.

1924 Jaeger Cement Mixer Hit& Miss Engine. No: 3E Model: A2H Engine# 251583 550 RPM 2 HP This Hit& Miss engine was manufactured by Hercules for Jaeger Mixers. Jaeger was the first company to make portable cement mixers. As close as I am able to tell it was manufactured in or around 1924. The engine is complete and it is mounted on a small cart on wheels so it can be moved around easily. This engine would be an excellent addition to your antique collection. Here is a nice excellent condition brass stationary engine oiler or bearing oiler. It has a cool look. So it could be part of a Steam Punk invention as well. This oiler was made in Detroit, Michigan by the Michigan Lubricators Co. The glass cylinder is in good condition except for a chip off the top edge. Just mount the oiler with the chipped edge at the top. The brass parts seem to be in working order. The gaskets look old and should be replaced. Please ask questions before bidding. An Early Toy Steam Engine Flame Licker in"as found" condition. The patent date on this piece is Nov. 20 1900. It is being sold as we found it. The engine turns freely and the flywheels still have a decent amount of maroon paint left. The base shows light oxidation and measures 6 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 6" high. It has not been tested. Old Bosch ZE1 Harley Indian Pope Thor Henderson Hit Miss Engine Magneto HOT!!
This is an original Bosch ZE1 high tension magneto for an early motorcycle engine. It was used on Harley Davidson engines and probably several others. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a small chip on the leadout which doesn't affect anything. It has an aluminum base that is in excellent condition. It mounts with four holes on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. Everything moves very nicely with almost no noticeable wear in the bearings. It has very strong magnetic pull and this magneto puts out a HOT, fat, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. It is clockwise rotation and has a 40 tooth gear on it. Rare 20qt 5gl Snow Ball Ice Cream Freezer Hit Miss Engine Before White Mountain
In good shape for the age 1913. You are buying a Snow Ball Freezer that is pictured. Very rare to find one all intact and this nice. Just needs some good TLC. It is old and has some wear as you can see in the photos. Older than the White Mountain I just sold. Snow Ball Freezers were patent 1911-13 and White Mountain Freezers were patent 1923. One metal tank is in good shape. The seam may need to be soldered again and some rust spots repaired or buffed out. The other tank is missing the bracket that keeps tank turning with the lid and will need some rust spots repaired and the lid has had a chip on top repaired also will need seam soldered. The wood is in all good shape with some wear inside. Metal is in good shape with no breaks or welds and the gears look good. Original Aermotor Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Ignitor Magneto Bracket NICE!
This is an extremely nice original Webster magneto mounting ignitor bracket for an 8 cycle Aermotor hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine. It is bracket number 303M57. It mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 1 7/8 inches apart on center. It may fit on other engines as well but please measure your engine to be sure. There is almost no noticeable wear on the movable shaft or on the points and everything works as it should. The magneto mounts to this bracket on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch bolt pattern. This is the nicest Aermotor Webster brackets that I've ever owned. These brackets for the Aermotor engines are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if your's is broken, repaired, or missing don't miss your chance on it. ... moreThey really add a lot to the engine with a big magneto hanging off of the front of it! The oilers appear to be brass and are marked Oil-Rite Corp. Milwaukee. They are in good condition and the glass/plastic is not cracked or chipped, but as you can see in the pictures, one is missing the oil cap. ANTIQUE JUDSON 3 FLY BALL GOVERNOR STEAM ENGINE TRAIN TRACTOR HIT & MISS RARE
Here's a very old Judson fly ball steam engine governor. It has 3 fly balls that measure about 1 3/4" in diameter. The governor stands about 11 1/2" tall not counting the stud at the bottom. Which I don't think is original. It has some flaws, the main cast iron body has a old brazed repair, the top cast iron piece that holds the fly ball arms has a large chip out of it, the wheel that tensions the throttle lever, has 3 teeth missing and someone has done a ugly job of welding at the bottom of the base. I have tried to picture all of the flaws, but if you need more pictures, just ask. All parts move freely except I can only pull the balls out maybe 1/4" Please enlarge the pictures below for the best description. Most all of the items we list are not new. John Deere 1.5 HP hit and miss antique engine on original cart
Up for sale is a 1928 John Deere 1.5 hp"E" hit and miss engine on original John Deere trucks(cart) This is an older restoration I did in the last 1970s. It ran fine as of roughly 5 years ago but has been sitting in my garage since then. The magneto was rebuilt in the early 1980s. The end cap and rotor ends were replaced using NOS(new old stock) John Deere parts- those are the parts that commonly"rot" on these. Anyone who knows antique engines and magnetos would probably get the magnet recharged. The cart is original John Deere- at some point before I bought it. The rear axle casting had broken was welded by a past owner. Not very neat but it's been strong. The photos show the rear axle casting having been welded. The muffler does not have the cast"screen" with the holes in it. The muffler is missing the guts ... moreand has been that way since I bought it in the 70s. The fuel tank has been patched using an old oil can tin soldered to the bottom of the tank. Since it has been sitting for a few years I expect the check valve in the tank is gummed up from sitting. There is a cracked spoke on the crank-side flywheel. I show the crack in the photos. Although I've run it this way since day one- I highly recommend the new owner replace that flywheel. I can point you to someone who can furnish a good flywheel for it- they are not difficult to change. Original MASON STANLEY LOCOMOBILE Steam Car Engine Brass Frame Hit Miss NICE!!
This is a real nice original and very early two cylinder steam engine for an early automobile. It was made by Mason and was used in some of the Stanley and Locomobile cars. It measures about 10 x 20 x 5 inches and is serial number 184. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know about. It turns over very nicely with very little wear. Even the chain sprocket is in good condition. I don't think this engine has very many hours on it. It has a brass frame as the earliest ones did. The only real flaw that I've noted is that there was a bracket for a pump that has either been removed at some point in its life or possibly before it left the factory. This wold be fairly easy to replace as it is just a brass ring tab the would need to be silver soldered on. Other than that minor item this engine is ... moreis in near pristine condition for being almost 115 years old! These engines hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project or just for a conversation piece here it is. The pictures tell the story. They just don't get much nicer. I can deliver this for free to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. Original International Harvester IHC Famous Titan Mogul Hit Miss Engine Oil Can
This is a rather hard to find original International Harvster oil can. It is marked in raised letters around the shoulder of the can and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It stands about 7 1/2 inches tall and is even nice and clean inside. There are a few small dings around the top shoulder of the can but these are just enough to give it authentic character and can clearly be seen in the pictures. I believe these oil cans were factory equipment with all of the Famous, Titan, and Mogul engines and likely with other IHC equipment. They don't turn up very often in the wild and would be a nice addition to your toolbox on your engine or your IHC memorabilia collection or display. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. For auction is some sort of tank pump believe to be from a hit miss or steam engine. This item is made from cast iron and brass. This was found in a cabinet containing misc hit miss parts. Brass Mixer Carb w/Choke Carburetor Hit & Miss Stationary Engine for Parts
You are bidding on an incomplete Adams mixer which I believe fits a hit and miss engine- probably one of the larger engines. It is missing a few parts. As you can see from the photos. What's there is in decent shape, this will make an excellent parts donor. The body is in good condition considering its age. Has an interesting barrel-valve choke assembly. Items shown in pictures are what you will receive.

Original MICHIGAN Brass Steam Engine Pump Oiler Hit Miss Gas Tractor Magneto WOW
This is a really nice original Michigan pump oiler for a steam engine or other piece of equipment. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and just needs a little cleaning. It retains most of its nickel plating and has the original wooden knob on it. It is about a#3 or#4 size and the glass is good. Everything seems to work as it should. It stands about 9 inches tall overall and has 3/8 pipe threads that are in great shape. The only real blemish that I've noted is some wrench marks on the flats of the mounting hex. After some cleaning and a pair of new gaskets which are fun to make, this oiler will be ready to go to work on a steam engine or on your display shelf. These pump style oilers, especially the smaller ones, don't turn up very often in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one don't ... moremiss it. It would even make a great spare.
