1999 Supermax YCI CNC Turning Center w/ Fanuc O-T Control Used Max Bar Capacity is 2" 8" Chuck No Tooling. We have ran this machine for 5+ years now and it has always been a good working machine. The machine does have one issue. The tool changer will loose it's position. The machine may run 3 months and it won't do it or it may run a week and do it. It is not consistent but happens at anytime. It seems like a simple fix if someone would take the time. The machine is actually too small for us, so instead of investing money into it we replaced it with a larger turning center. The machine does show wear and tear as seen in the photos. All photos were just taken. The control buttons are wore some. The light holder up top is broke. The chip conveyor works and the machine holds good tolerances. We assume the tail stock works but ... morenever needed to use it. I have a video. It was taken right before it was taken out of service. At higher spindle speeds it sounds like the machine needs bearings, however we are 99% sure it needs belts because the noise is not consistent and goes away. The belt are in okay shape but shouldbe replaced in the near future. This machine has done well for us. Please message for the video. It will not let me post it. Any questions please ask me. These tool holders are somewhat of a unicorn in the Denford Orac hobbyist realm. This is a pair of round 19mm(0.750" shank. Tool holders for the Denford Orac Turret ATC. These have a 10mm mounting hole at a 45 degree angle. it appears, for use with a boring bar or other round shank tool. I have been told that these may be the first known photos of this particular tool on the internet and one of the very few pairs of these holders still in existence. The larger is 5" in total length. The smaller is 4" in total length. As noted above, each holder uses both a side and a top set screw to secure tools. Yet both of the holders are missing the small hex head set screw in the top of the tool. The side set screw has better leverage to hold the tool secure on it's own anyway. The top one appears to be somewhat of an after thought. ... moreSo tools can easily be held secure even if you choose to not go to the hardware store to find a replacement hex head set screw for the top threads. Aside from that, both are in good shape with some scuffs in the finish, but nothing that is not age appropriate. If you are a Denford Orac connoisseur or hobbyist, these are an item that you need to think twice about.
