Here is another of the assortment of Case Industrial equipment manuals I just got from an estate auction. There are a few so I will list them asap. Most are unused but dirty from year on the shelves of some tractor dealer storage. This one is The Case Industrial 1000 Diesel Crawler operator's manual with 128 pages of illustrations. And various information on the use and mantenience of the 1000 Case Crawler These books do not have any dates on them but I think most of these are from the 50's. This book has a penciled date 1/4/58 and a name on the top. It was at least opened with a dirty hand on one occasion but still looks to be unused. A great addition for your collection. Up for bid here is the Vintage January 1958 publication titled"The Professional Mechanics Service Manual Model 600 Diesel Crawler" that was made by the J. I. Case Company. Inside on the title page. It reads"Case Terratrac Crawler Tractor Model 600 Diesel. This is a fairly large manual measuring 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches. Each section has a different set of page numbers so I can't tell you a total number there but this book is about 3/4 of an inch thick. As for condition, the main thing you see is that about half of the plastic spiral binder is missing. What is left still holds the book together though. Also, the holes in the pages look OK so it probably wouldn't be too hard to have it rebound. Other than that, there's a little bit of greasy fingerprint type grime and some discoloration on the edges of the pages ... morebut on the whole this book is still in good condition. Happy Bidding!
