Pelton Crane 840C/ 420C Dental Compressor Head Description. The Pelton& Crane 420-C and 840-C both use the same compressor heads. Both compressors are basically the same thing. But the 840-C has two heads and a larger tank. The part that you see in this listing is one 3/4 HP head unit. That will fit an 840-C and a 420-C. The unit is an oil-cooled compressor with an attached 3/4 HP motor. This unit is a little older and it's been used. But these heads are ridiculously expensive(usually around $1000 new) The unit is in great cosmetic condition with a little paint loss here and there. Nothing looks to be obviously broken or damaged. I hooked it up to a power source. Tested it and found it to be in good working order. Keep in mind that I was only able to check if it ran or not, I don't have the knowledge, tools, or equipment to do ... moreany further tests. USED Pel-Air 840C 840-C Pelton Crane Dental Air Compressor Motor & Pump Head
I have one used compressor head from a Pelton Crane Pel-Air 840-C dual compressor dental air compressor. The complete working unit was removed from a dental office. It had regular maintenance. The unit powered up and ran up to shut off pressure quickly and then shut off as it should. It sounded as it should and ran smooth. I previously sold the other compressor head. The buyer tested the other compressor head and motor and found it to have a bad internal micro switch. I am telling this only as history of entire unit. As I said before. The unit ran well when removed from the dental office. I have not tested this individual head but do not have any reason to believe there is anything wrong with it. It is sold AS-IS.
