Ingersoll Rand 3/4 in dr IR258 -Torque Tested! 1100 Ft Pd! Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand IR258. This is one my favorite 3/4 impacts. Personally I prefer it to the IR259 that they make today. I put new hammer pins and a new cam in it. It works very well. I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to 1000 ft pounds. Then loosened it. It showed POWER TO SPARE in reverse. I tested this with 105 PSI at the wall. By the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI, or a hair higher. It has some scratches and scuffs but looks pretty good. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. It has the ring style socket retainer. I'm sure you can find others but have they been tested on professional equipment and do they have a 30 day SATISFACTION GUARANTY? This one does! All my toys. I purchased all of them new. I never used one of the ratchets. I used the second ratchet 3 or four times over 5 years. The IR Impact Wrench was used once every 6 months to rotate my tires. The IR Wrench is scratched from my pulling the air hose under my jeep.I know.I shouldn't be so rough with fine tools. Kid-Gloves: All my air tools are used with an oil-regulated feed at 90 PSI. The wrench and ratchet I have used work perfect. The third tool was bought on clearance at Sears and I never installed an air receptacle on it. I assume it is as new. I did occasionally put a drip on pneumatic oil in it over the years. Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand 3/8 inch drive IR212 impact wrench. Strong. But not so strong that it beats itself up. These really seem to outlast some of the super strong ones. Great for the homeowner or professional Hard hitting jumbo hammer! Strong in both forward and reverse although strongest in reverse as it should be. I'm having some issues with the gauge on the torque tester that I use for the 3/8 impacts, but I can tell this one is close to 185 ft pds if not right there. I'm sure you can find others but have they been tested on professional equipment and do they have a 30 day SATISFACTION GUARANTY? This one does. Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand 1/2 inch drive IR2131 impact wrench. Best mechanic I know won't use anything else! Strong. But not so strong that it beats itself up. These really seem to outlast some of the super strong ones. Great for the homeowner or professional Hard hitting twin hammers! Strong in both forward and reverse although strongest in reverse as it should be. I test all my 2131 impacts to remove a torque tester nut torqued to 700 ft pds. This one did it with no trouble. They list 600 ft pounds but of course have a much stronger bolt breakaway torque. This has the ring type socket retainer for easy changes. I'm sure you can find others but have they been tested on professional equipment and do they have a 30 day SATISFACTION GUARANTY? This one does.
