Antique/Vintage Black Bostitch B 8 B8 Mini Stapler with Staple Remover - Works
This stapler is a little less than 5.5" long at the bottom. And looks well used and dusty. There is a little staple remover attached to the side. It opens and closes fairly easily but the spring inside does not retract. I don't know if there is something missing or not. But I just pushed it back with my finger to put staples in it. It seemed to work just fine to staple a piece of paper together. It says to use only Bostitch B8 staples. And there are no staples included. Most of our items are from estate sales so we do not know all the history/ usage of our listed items. Bostitch S32SX Pneumatic Finish Stapler / Brad Nailer - Not Hitachi Porter Cable
This is a made in the USA Bostitch S32SX pneumatic finish stapler/ brad nailer. This stapler uses 18 gauge staples in a range from 1/2 inch to 1-3/8 inches in length. And operates at air pressures between 60-100 PSI. This air stapler is a several years old and is NOT in working condition, but is, I think, repairable or is certainly good for parts. It is complete and missing nothing. What's wrong with it? I do not know for sure, but I believe the diaphragm is torn, or has a hole in it, or is stuck or something like that because when the stapler is plugged into an air source, it leaks air and barely has enough PSI to shoot a staple. I have never taken it apart to see what the problem is; this stapler has never been disassembled. I replaced this stapler with a Hitachi, and later added a Porter Cable to the fray as well, so I never bothered ... moreto explore what the problem with this one is. I know Bostitch still makes replacement parts for their pneumatic staplers. And several places online sell them, so I'd bet this is an easy fix Or, as I mentioned above, just use it for parts. I do not know for sure if the Bostitch S32SX is still made today. When I do an Internet search on the model, I do get hits on it, and the ones I see are not cheap. Other models are out there, too, so I just don’t know. I do believe this one could very likely be made to work again for probably little money or used as a parts donor for your own S32SX. Included in the auction is the stapler with the instruction/parts schematic. There is no case for the stapler(I don’t think there ever was) nor does it come with any staples, brads or nails.
