Up for sale is a Matco MT1759TH. Basically a Ingersoll Rand IR2131. But it looks better. One of their most popular 1/2 impacts. Composite body. Lightweight composite body. I tightened the torque tester nut a couple times to 550 ft pounds. And removed it once at 650 ft pounds. No problem. Stronger in reverse as any correctly working impact should be. This one is definitely stronger than average. I test with 100 PSI at the wall, by the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI. It is pretty good looking also. Ingersoll Rand 1 in dr IR295A -Torque Tested! 1770? Ft Pd! Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand IR295A. One of their best pistol type 1 inch impacts. I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to 1550 ft pounds. Stronger in reverse as any correctly working impact should be. They list 1770 as the max torque for this model and I have no reason to disbelieve it. I tested this with 110 PSI at the wall, by the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI. 1550 is as high as the gauge goes on my torque tester and it went off the gauge. It is not all beat up either! Sure it has some scratches and wear, but for one of these it looks pretty good. I have painted it with primer and a silver grey paint as close to the original paint as I could come. Scratches do show through the paint. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. You can get impact power into places you never thought possible! A good all around impact. I test on a Skidmore Wilhelm torque tester. One of the best. I run 100 PSI at the wall. Less at the impact. this put out 300 ft pds in forward with a bolt breakaway of 500 ft pds. Your torque will decrease some with the attachment. Craftsman Torque Tested - 400 Ft pd -199831 - Air Impact Wrench -1/2 dr 525 BBT
Up for sale is a Craftsman 1/2 inch drive 199831 impact wrench. The Max Torque is listed as 400 Ft Lbs with a higher bolt breakaway torque. It has a show of use and performs well. It is tested to remove bolts torqued to 525 ft pounds. It had no trouble with those. These are decent impacts. Much better in my opinion than the current 400 ft pd model they are selling. Not a professional capacity lug nut impact, simply because techs over torque lug nuts with today's torque monsters. If they are torqued right this will take them off easily. This model as well as many other Craftsman impacts have CERAMIC BALLS as a silencing mechanism. They rattle when you move the impact this is normal and good. I have had bad feedback. Ingersoll Rand 1 in dr IR295 -Torque Tested! 1550 + Ft Pd! Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand IR295. One of their best pistol type 1 inch impacts. I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to 1550 ft pounds. Stronger in reverse as any correctly working impact should be. I retested this with 110 PSI at the wall, by the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI. 1550 is as high as the gauge goes on my torque tester. It is not all beat up either! Sure it has some scratches and wear, but for one of these it looks pretty good. It has the ring style as well as the through pin socket retaining setup. For those not familiar with that. The sockets have holes through them and you put a pin through the holes in the socket and anvil and put an O ring it the socket groove. You will never lose a socket that way. Of course if you are changing sockets with any frequency the ring will hold them fine. ... moreAs a matter of fact it's a little tight. A good thing! Here we have a Craftsman Impact Wrench. Its A Craftsman Professional Mod 875.19864 1/2" drive. Its 1250 BPM + 9500 RPM It has a max torque of 450 Ft lbs forward and 600 ft lbs in reverse. This is a older mod, I have had it about 4 years, Its the best impact I have ever had, the trigger is stuck, so I would think it just needs a new one. They are available through Sears parts. Up for sale is a OPT 1/2 in dr impact wrench. Same as a popular Mac model as well as a popular Sunex model. All made by the same company and almost identical inside. A good all around impact. Ingersoll Rand 1 in IR271 -Torque Tested! 1200? Ft Pd! Air Impact Wrench
Up for sale is a Ingersoll Rand IR271. One of their best pistol type 1 inch impacts. Just about the industry standard for a affordable 1" inch impact I tightened the 2 inch torque tester nut a couple times to over 1200 ft pounds. Stronger in reverse as any correctly working impact should be. They list 1100 as the max torque for this model but they always seem to go higher on the scale than that. I tested this with 110 PSI at the wall, by the time it reaches the impact it maintains 90 PSI. It is not all beat up either! Sure it has some scratches and wear, but for one of these it looks pretty good. See the pictures for the cosmetic condition. It has the ring style socket retainer. There is no guesswork here. I use a Skidmore Wilhelm Torque tester. The industry standard.
