This is a regulator like we used to have on dry nitrogen tanks used to pressurize communications cables and radio transmission lines. The high pressure input gage is 4000 psi full scale and the regulated output gage fill scale is 400 psi. The output gage reads just about 14 psi like it should at 920 feet above sea level. The regulator unit looks to be in good shape but the output line. A hose, has a rusty fitting at the distal end and should be replaced. The unit will ship with or without the hose at the winner's option and might save a pound shipping weight. Very Vintage Porcelain Faced Oil Flow Regulator and Metal Oil Burner Lighter
I am selling this very unique and quite vintage porcelain faced flow regulator. It was part of a sales sample oil burner assembly. It has been used only a few times and is in excellent working condition. It is currently rigged to accept and manage copper tubing. I am guessing that the tubing is 1/4 inch in diameter as that is what it looks like to me. The oil burner was originally sold back in the 1930's by The Liberty Range Oil Burner Company in Hartford CT I acquired the burner at an auction. This regulator was part of that auction lot. The 14 inch metal wick lighter was also part of that auction lot It is metal and has a looped end. I do not think it has ever been lit.
