Auction is for one Idler arm assembly for American Dryer Corporation. I have a total of five of these available. Plus two more arms of the reinforced and non-reinforced or narrow type. They measure 11 5/8 x 3 1/4 inches, shaft is 5 3/4 long x 5/8" and 3/4" These are not readily available in new purchase as far as I know, and the stamped steel ones that are used later on are not as heavy-duty. The steel is 1 5/16" thick at the bearing end and is about 7/18" thick at the narrowest point of the taper. This is what Made in America used to mean, indestructible. No planned obsolescence here!

They have a steel balance plate on front of washer that distributes the weight evenly and avoids the dreaded off balance extracts. This is what makes this machine a very rare find. The people that bought these. Never sold them. They are the best of the best when it comes to large commercial washers. These machines were absolutely amazing for us. No matter how big the load, would extract in VERY high speed and never be off balance. The linens would barely be damp at all when finished.
