Its a dual poll dual throw 24Vdc relay with rail mount for a panel. the mount can be secured to a board with screws and doesn't need a bar to be mounted. The good thing about that is that it can be used for hobbies as well. The voltage rating is for the control circuit and the contacts are rated at 10A at 240 vac or 30 vdc. Up for sale is this Furnas Electric Co. Size O Motor starter. I pulled it off an old machine I purchased and don't need it as I used a VFD instead of the starter. This starter is 575V 18A Max and is 1-3 phase. I believe it works just fine as the motor works fine that it was controlling. And it appears to be in excellent shape. I am however selling it as is since I can't test it. It comes with a vintage momentary on/ off switch housing and a few feet of shop SOW/SJOW shop cord that is 4 conductor I believe. With a twist connector for three phase power. Other than cosmetic abuse on the outside of the enclosure it appears to be in great shape. In this listing you are bidding on lightly used. Size 1, Allen Bradley Motor Starter. The AB part number is 509-BOD, Series B. It has a# CB236, 120vac coil, and(3) W29 heaters in a#42185-800-01 that has a 595-AO2 NC contact instead of the push-to-test button. A NC contact like this is used often to initiate an alarm that indicates an open overload circuit, or could be used anywhere there is a need in the circuitry. If the buyer wants the push to test we can change it before we ship. This unit is very clean and looks better than the pictures. With these starters and their glossy surfaces it is hard to get pictures that look as good as the starter. There is too much glare involved. The backplate and frame look great. As the picture shows the contacts have small spots which are more like stains. They are not rough at all. The stationary contacts ... morelook exactly like the movables. I see no sign of arcing inside. We do not dress contacts in any way. Any filing or dressing will only decrease contact life. We clean off any carbon or oxidation with 409 cleaner and take a picture. If for any reason we ever remove contacts. They are always replaced in the original orientation. I believe this starter has nearly all of its contact life left This is a very nice Allen Bradley starter and if you can get by with a lightly used starter that looks very good this one should work for you.
