I believe that it does show that the unit is functional, however. There are also a few shots that show the result of repeatedly pressing the"test" button, which creates a square pulse. I could not test the blood pressure portion of the machine. Cosmetically. It is in pretty good shape. Has some scratches, dings, and label/marker residue as shown in photos.
