Up for your bidding consideration is this exceptionally nice 1988 Manitowoc air cooled ice machine with storage bin. This is a 200 lb(production) machine and sits on top of a 170 pound storage bin. This machine was in a local Dairy Queen it's entire life and was just recently removed due to the store closing. The legs have extensions on them to get the machine off of the floor further. These extensions can be easily removed if so desired. This machine works like a new machine and doesn't miss a beat when it is in operation. I personally cleaned and serviced this machine once I recieved it and checked it's production rate as I had it make a full bin of ice to prove it's reliability. And it scored 5 stars. This baby is plug and play- 115 volt and set up for a garden hose. Arrange a drain and make massive quantities of ice! There is no bin with this, it will go on standard Manitowoc 30" bins or the wider ones with adapter. Forget the age of this, I believe it was only used for a couple of years and then stored until I got it this summer- look at the evaporator. Their is some scale on the pump and other components, and the ice thickness sensor is corroded, but it works fine- its a $30 item when you need it. All covers are in great shape, they are off for the pics. Price includes the frame I made to use it with large coolers in lieu of a bin- or put it on your bin. You're looking at a commercial Manitowoc Series 400 ice machine. I think 600 lb but not sure, just going by what I was told. It is huge and worked perfectly when we took it out of a daycare in Harlan KY in 2011 for our catering shop we were putting in at the time. If you add the middle piece it is approx. 45 3/4" high. Total weight is approx. 550lbs.The lower left bracket for the upper unit is missing where the unit is rusted, wouldn't take much to put one on.
