I have had this machine for about two years. Shortly after acquiring it. I took it to MR. ESPRESSO in Oakland, CA- a sales& repair shop run by a crew of talented old Italian men. They gave it a full tune-up, replacing the pump and a lot of the old rubber tubing as well as a full cleaning. It functions wonderfully, it has served me well and I took good care of it. Most importantly, it makes super espresso. Super-sturdy cast aluminum build. Copper boiler(08 gal. 6 gal. water reservoir, solinoid valve, over-pressure valve, three-hole steam tip, spring-loaded commercial-sized(58mm) portafilter. Now called the Faema Family, this is the better, burlier, original-version with the brass(as opposed to aluminum) boiler.
