2 Vintage Rego Acetylene Torch Regulators and Torch
You are bidding on 2 vintage Rego regulators and a Rego torch. I am reclaiming an old country store that my family has been storing things in for 60+ years. I found these on a shelf in the store. The store was built around 1900 and is full of all kinds of old relics from the past. The older looking of the guages is marked with patened dates of March 6. 1917 and Oct 18, 1921 and is labeled"The Bastian-Blessing Company" on the front. This guage was packed away with what now is very old card board between dials and cloth bags tied to protect the connectors(very cool) one of the guages looks to be a collins while the other is marked as Rego. The other guage seems to be a newer model but still looks to be very old. It is marked type XL- 2" 5/8 and is marked Rego on all parts. The torch is marked as Rego as well. I was able to test this unit with my tanks and every thing seems to work great no leaks no popping when lit. the hose looks like it is about 10 years old so I would plan on replacing it soon although it is not dry or cracking any place.
