It also has several slight bends which is probably common on many of these extra large signs. The colors are still bright. The parts are in good condition; the steering wheel part is missing the wind shield but it could be used for just the steering wheel. The tires are cracked but one can get replacements on ebay; the hubs and axle are good. The grill is solid with both head lights: there is usage wear. The broken body part is worthless but I will leave the parts together for the new owner to disassemble. The grill and hubs fits any of the cars in the set. Here is a neat old Goodyear Tires plaque that was awarded to Alexander Farm Supply in recognition of 10 years of friendly relations. There are two cast medallions mounted by screws on a wooden board that measures 14" by 10" The round medallion pictures Charles Goodyear discovering vulcanization of rubber in 1839. The wooden board is worn. But I would imagine any award/ trophy shop would have a nice replacement that you could mount the medallions on to. or you could just leave it like it is! Vintage metal Goodyear Tires sign that would have been another side to hold a tire. 7 1/2" by 21 3/4" It has unused pre-crimped diagonal fold lines on each end. There would have been two of these put togethrt to hold a tire and the folded wings of each would have been screwed together. The yellow and blue logo is silkscreened onto the painted metal surface. There are dots of white paint on the sign and there is surface rust- heaviest at the bottom edge.
