Here is a rare early hand forged indian trade iron buffalo hide scraper. This piece is ancient old and I would guess it dates at least from the 1850s era if not older. This is out of an estate collection and I was told by the family that this was collected in Nebraska in the 1950s. It is very large in size. Measures approx 25 1/2" in length and the blade is 3 1/8" wide. Inside blade has teeth on part of it, I would guess to remove hair? Just a great museum worthy piece, fresh out of an estate.

Here are two pieces of antique advertising. Both pieces advertise the Mt Penn Stove Works in Reading PA. Reading is in Berks County. First is a lithographed pot scraper. It shows the clover logo of the Mt Penn Stove Works. It shows a lot of wear. It is about 2 3/4 inches tall. Next is a miniature cast iron pan embossed Mount Penn Stoves Heaters& Rangers Reading. PA. It is about 4 inches long including the handle. The paper label inside shows the clover logo and mentions the merchant name Hafer. The pan is in very good condition. The paper label has a piece near the edge missing and has darkened. Both would be a good start to a Mt Penn collection.

These were found near lake Eufala in Oklahoma and are guaranteed to be authentic Native American artifacts. The gray one with the tan bands measures 1 1/2" long. Fresh from central Missouri estate. 1909 salesman patent model horse drawn road scraper with original patent paper. Patent no. 924810. The original patent model by John Abraham Miller of Rosebud Missouri in Gasconade County. It measures about 16" long and 12" wide at widest point. It remains in very nice condition and the 3 small hand levers all work to raise and lower the wheels which adjust the height of the blades, also has the 4 small hooks which the horses would hitch to.The blade was signed and dated by Mr. Miller. Allis-Chalmers Vintage Operators Manual and Repair Parts List Model C-44 Scraper
This is a Vintage Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co. Operators Manual and Parts List for Model C-44 Scraper. It was purchased from Cook Sales and Service in St. Joseph. Missouri and has their date stamp in the front cover that reads August 31, 1956. Please look at the pictures, the book is all here and intact. It does have oily dirt on the front cover and the back cover. There is a water stain at the bottom of the book. You can see the water mark all the way through, lighter in some areas. In additions to the book, there are two blueprints. The first is from Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co. Milwaukee, Wis. U.S.A. Cedar Rapids Works# 154205 for Pull Bar Jaw Nut Dated 3-31-1953 and 9-27-1953. The second is from Laplant Choate Mfg. Co. Property of Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co. 149660 for Pullbar Jaw showing a production date of 7-10-1944. There is an Alphabetical Index ... morein the front with Topic Titles that reads: Cable. Cutting Edges, General Description, General Specifications, Hydraulic System, Lubrication, Operating Instructions, Preparation of Scraper for Storage, Repair Parts Section, Scraper Serial Number, Sheaves, Tires and Wheels. There are 47 pages in this booklet. There are pictures and instructions. The book has rough page edges. Oil smudges, yellowing and the water stain.
