Welcome. Up for auction today is this custom made Fireman's Safety Belt with Pelican hook. It is about 40 years old and has been used in a variety of ways. I have used it to secure myself at the top of a ladder by just snapping the pelican hook on the rung, I have used it to climb trees by using a climbing strap(not included) clipped to the rings, I have used it rappelling by feeding a line thru a figure 8 carabiner and clipping to the pelican hook. The belt is constructed very well, look closely at the pix, there is some surface rust on the rings etc but a wire brushing would take care of that.
